I liked the material and style

I have vertigo if I am in the wind, plus my eyes are sensitive to the sun. This hat is the perfect solution for me, much better than having to wear a hat AND ear muffs (which was always a source of amusement for my middle school students for some reason.) When I am outdoors with this hat, I can wear the ear flaps up or down as needed so I have protection from both.The hat fits very well and is stretchy and comfortable. I like it so well I ordered two more. I just wish they offered more colors, and I’d probably get more!

Over Christmas, my mom had received this hat as a gift from a family member. She tried it on & it looked SO cute on her! Had I known about it, this hat would have also been on my Christmas list too.That said, I immediately, bought myself one & most likely going to get a 2nd in a different color.This hat is perfect! Warm, actually covers the ears, staying snuggly in place. The shape of the hat & bill are just right!I sometimes use the pony tail hole but know that you can also wear it without.Just a great hat all the way around. Highly recommend this hat but make sure it’s from Trailheads. As I’d be afraid any copy of this wouldn’t be as well made.

I run in this hat in the winter and have had it in black for a couple years. I loved it so much that I bought a 2nd one in teal, however, the teal looks more like the indigo color or a dark lake (not nearly as bright of a teal in the photo, which isn't even that bright anyway). The tag also came with some fun ponytail bands that are stretchy fabric, so less hair breakage! Thanks for the free swag! I also bought a hat for my sister and she is excited to start wearing it, too.

Had been searching for an outdoor hat that would both cover my ears and block sun for daytime cold weather runs and walks. Loved my first one so much that I bought a second and another as a gift for a family member. Well made, and even has a (discrete) pony tail opening that can be used, but does not create a gape to allow cold air in. Highly recommend.
