It's exactly what I had been looking for. I need a brim to shield my eyes, but I hate wearing a coat with a hood over a hat. This hat covers my ears, shades my eyes and allows me to pull my hair up. It is very soft and warm and I will definitely get lots of wear! There is a bit of elastic in the back of the hat that helps it stay on well too.

This is so warm, but very light and fits me perfectly. I ordered it for my trip to Norway, but could not wait to use it. The ponytail space is great!

I have had this hat, in black, for about a week. I am happy with it. It fulfills my three requirements in one hat: Protecting my eyes from the sun, keeping my ears warm, and accommodating my long hair. The bill is a decent enough length to actually provide protection from the sun; it’s comparable to that of a standard ball cap. The hat itself is slightly stretchy and less structured than a regular ball cap, so it does have a slightly different look on the head, which is accentuated by the presence of the ear flaps. I don’t mind the look, but it’s slightly different than what I expected. My husband said it looks “British.” It doesn’t look fashionable or “cute,” at least not with my round face, but I was only interested in function when I ordered it, so that’s not an issue. The ear flaps are easy to fold up or down as needed, and they cover my ears adequately. The ponytail port is situated in a similar position to where the hole is in a standard trucker’s cap, maybe slightly higher. I have found it’s easiest to gather my hair and pull it through the hole before adding a hair tie to secure it. The reason I knocked off a star is that the hat is slightly tight. I have an average-sized head and have never had any issues with caps fitting me before, so I think this one runs just a bit small. It’s not too tight not to be useable, but I’d prefer it to be slightly larger or adjustable.

I usually wear a baseball hat. This is perfect for when it’s colder out. I love that I can flip down the back and sides to keep my ears & neck warm, yet have it flipped up when it’s not as cold & windy. The hole for my ponytail works great! I will be getting another one for a spare.

Ich habe schon einige Sportmützen ausprobiert aber diese hier gehört eindeutig zu meinen Favoriten. Das Fleck ist angenehm weich, ohne dick zu sein, und hält selbst bei Minusgraden zuverlässig warm. Besonders praktisch finde ich die herunterklappbaren Ohrenwärmer, so bleibt man flexibel, wenn es beim Laufen oder Wandern mal etwas wärmer wird. Das Highlight ist natürlich die Pferdeschwanzöffnung: Sie ist perfekt platziert und groß genug, dass man die Haare bequem durchziehen kann, ohne dass die Mütze verrutscht. Gerade beim Joggen oder Spazierengehen ist das extrem angenehm, weil man nicht ständig nachjustieren muss. Auch bei längeren Trainingseinheiten gefällt mir das Material sehr gut. Es ist atmungsaktiv, transportiert Feuchtigkeit gut nach außen und trocknet schnell, kein nasses, kaltes Gefühl, selbst wenn man geschwitzt hat. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, keine losen Nähte oder dünne Stellen, und die Passform bleibt auch nach mehrmaligem Waschen stabil. Ich trage sie inzwischen nicht nur zum Laufen, sondern auch beim Spazierengehen, auf dem Fahrrad oder einfach in der Stadt, sie sieht sportlich, aber trotzdem stylisch aus. Fazit: Eine durchdachte, bequeme und funktionale Mütze für kalte Tage. Ideal für alle, die viel draußen unterwegs sind und dabei weder auf Komfort noch auf Style verzichten wollen.
