I love haloumi cheese. I have tried a few varieties. But this is a terrible version. I strongly advise you do not buy. I wish there was a way I could get my money back.The Athens halloumi sold at whole foods is amazing.... It is very expensive ... But the taste....amazing

Very Yummy!
I had never heard of Halloumi Cheese before. But in following the Glucose Goddess to get my glucose under control, she has a great recipe in her book. I followed the recipe and it was yummy. I ended up frying the halloumi cheese and it was very tasty.

Smooshed!
This cheese wasn’t packed well and arrived all smooshed, which of course made it difficult to make slices for frying. It also arrived at room temperature, not cold, which bothered me. When I contacted the seller, they gave me the big blow-off. Two stars because it tasted good.

perfection on the grill
We LOVE this cheese. We grilled it and served it in a sandwich with grilled eggplants, roasted red peppers and a bread lightly coated in evoo and some spices (oregano, cayenne, and a few other things), which we also grilled for a bit. I highly recommend it, the cheese is absolutely perfect for the grill. It is also very flavorful, tastes a bit like goat cheese, but much smoother (because it also has sheep milk in it!).

The cheese was delivered with 2 small ice packs. It was all hot. Item is not returnable. Very disappointed.
