Diamine inks always impress. This set has a nice variety of colors, and all the inks behave very well even in extra fine Western pens, as well as the extra fine Japanese pens. For people with like the thicker nibs, the colors present even better.

As title says, this is a "Fountain Pen Ink - Colour Wheel".Normally, colors need to be made dye, and not pigmented. My mistake!This colors are suitable for pens. For example, calligraphy. Not for art in mixed media.All the information is in the description, and is ok.Was my fault not to inform myself well.

The mix of colors included in this pack is almost perfect. My favorite colors are the deep rich Syrah Red and the Aurora Borealis blue green mix. All the inks are very smooth and have a rich consistent color. You can't really go wrong for the ammount of ink you are getting for $25 with a great mix of options rather than a single color large ink. Just in case it was not apparent these are great inks, but they do not have any water proofing and can be washed off easily so you will not stain anything if you spill them, but don't use these inks for any important documents.

I especially love the Earl Grey and Aurora Borealis. Great shading.

Fantastic Value for the money!

These are beautiful colored inks that write well, almost buttery smooth on paper. They do best on fountain pen paper and can feather a bit if used on cheap paper. They are pretty wet inks, so they might not be good for lefty’s. They are also not waterproof, so keep that in mind as well.Those things being said, after writing (and drying), the inks seem to kind of smear.(Note: the inks are lighter in real life than they appear in this picture, because the picture was taken in low light.)

These smaller bottles are great way to try ink colors and this is a nice little selection from Diamond. I definitely see why aurora borealis is so popular, and autumn oak is a pleasant surprise with its shading. At around $25, this is a decent set as I have come to learn you can get them as individual bottles for similar prices at stationary stores as well if you don’t mind the slightly longer shipping times.
