Never had a hairpin like this one before but I love it!
Since buying this hairpin, I have worn it almost every single day. I love it! You can do a French twist, top knot bun, or low side bun with it, & they all hold great! Before this, I used bobby pins & now I never bother with those. It’s super easy to use, doesn’t pull my hair, & looks classy. Also, after being looped up in the hairpin all day, my hair looks pleasantly wavy & doesn’t rat out in the ends like it does when I make a ponytail bun. Would recommend!

Decorative Pins
The hairpins are lovely ~ a beautiful tortoise shell pattern and pin design. However, my hair is very long and the pins could not support my hair, and would fall out. They were too flexible to support my weight of hair. I always buy from this company because of the quality, however, in this instance the pins did not work for me.

Had my doubts - But I love it!
First off, I have REALLY long hair (hip length when straight, but most of the time it's curly - see 3rd photo). Initially I used writing utensils or chopsticks to hold my hair in place of a tie, but I needed something more professional looking for work. When I first got this I was super disappointed - it was so small (and overpriced - I misread the dimensions - but I couldn't find anything like this locally), I thought there's no way it's going to hold all my hair. It did take a few tries to get used to the new shape, but it actually DOES hold all my hair securely and incredibly comfortably in a figure 8 bun - I even slept with it in and it didn't budge! While I do still wish there was a longer version closer to 6" so more of the clip pattern shows, I do love that it's small enough for my pocket, and sturdy yet ergonomically flexible enough to bend around your head slightly. I will be back for more now!

Dirrections/No bending!!
Yes it bends! But! If you don’t want it to bend, then do this,As you are inserting the fork through the bun, make sure to let the fork tongs run along the curve of your head. To prevent it from slipping, as you are running it down, also zig zag side to side a little so it catches more hair. This will give you a tighter fit.

Flimsy but pretty
I returned this. It was really pretty but scary flexible. It definitely would break in thick hair. If you have fine hair then I could see this working but medium to thick hair ppl stay away!

Holds Thick Hair & Stylish Too!
I have been trying for years to replace some large hairpins that were strong enough to hold my hair and these are the first that I’ve found!!! They are the perfect weight (not bulky and support sleek hair styles), yet control thick hair —and they look great! Love the neutral tortoise shell that goes with everything!

Hair pin review
This was so cute and arrived so quickly. I used it in my bun but found that it was a bit flimsy, I thought it would be more solid. After half a day in my bun I took it out and it had Los its original shape a bit. Very cute and did hold my hair.

Beautiful
This pin is really beautiful and well made. However, you must be careful to angle it well when putting it in, or it will slide out if you have thick or heavy hair. I can only use this for buns... not french twists, because it falls right out.
