The real deal
If you come from Chicago, you likely know what this is. Perfect on Italian Beef sandwiches, but that's not all. The peppers seem to be pickled, sliced versions of the inimitable "sport peppers" also used on Chicago-style hot dogs. Great stuff! Skip the mild variety; go for the hot!!!This is the same basic product that's simply called "Hot Peppers" at a Potbelly's sandwich shop. Getting Giardiniera in this manner instead of a small bottle at their restaurant is a LOT more cost-effective.

Marconi Hot Giardiniera plus Boyardi Mini Ravioli is match made in heaven
The last time i had proper hot giardiniera was from the Aurora brand in Toronto, Canada 20 years ago. I completely forgot about them. Aurora doesnt exist in the US for some reason. It took a while, but I finally found this Marconi brand that was the exact equivalent in terms of crunchy hot sport peppers. At the time, I didnt have any pasta or sauce, only Chef Boyardee mini ravioli cans. It was a combination that allowed me to relive my youth again! Thanks Marconi!

A Classic
If you're looking at this item, you probably know what you are looking for, and that is what you will get! An amazing and delicious Giardiniera - great for sandwich's, adding to sauces, topping entrees, etc. I use this stuff on so many things - the other night I made tilapia over rice and slathered some giardiniera on top. Amazing! Definitely worth it, as one of these will last you a while even if you use it frequently.

Heat varies from jar to jar
I bought a gallon of these 6 months ago and enjoyed every bite. They were genuinely HOT, as I like them. The second gallon I just bought is more like the mild than the hot. Disappointing, but still tasty.

Authentic old school Chicago style hot Italian giardiniera!
This stuff is awesome. It’s great on sammies, especially if your going for a homemade hot Italian beef sandwich. I put in salads, on just about any savory sandwich, on hot dogs, hamburgers, tacos, in coleslaw, egg salad, potato salad or just by itself in a small bowl with lunch or dinner. Ive been through 3-4 gallons since finding this just a few months ago.It comes preserved in oil though. I usually drain most of the oil and add some vinegar, dill pickle juice, pickled jalapeño pepper juice, a bit of habanero sauce, and 2-3 tablespoons of minced/chopped garlic.

Simply the Best for an Italian beef sandwich.
I can't say anymore, it is the best for Italian Beef Sandwich. Chicago Style. I am hooked. I highly recommend, if you can't take spicy it is not for you. If you can take spicy then bring it ON!!!!!! Lol. Oh yes it did leak but it was minimal and did not affect its flavor. If you a little moe fire then add red pepper flakes of ghost pepper dust like I do, but be careful of the Ghost Pepper dust, it can do damage going down and out 🤣
