1-476 ERGO™ File Set 6 Piece 100mm (4in)

I recently bought a set of Bahco needle files and was so impressed with the quality that when it came to buy some slightly larger files I didn't consider any other brand. I'm using them to work steel and a bit of brass, they're fine enough for detailed work and finishing but hard and sharp enough to remove a decent amount of material if you really needed to.For the work I'm doing - making lock picks - they're an excellent size. The length/width are ideal for precision and control, and every file is shaped and finished perfectly. The selection is good - I have every shape I need and coupled with the Bahco needle file set I have no excuses for not getting the job done right!Just for comparison, the round needle file is 3.8mm at its widest, compared to the 2.8mm wide round file in my needle set, and 6.2mm in my full sized set. The other files are slightly closer to full size in width, maybe closer to 3/4 rather than 2/3.The handles are comfortable and grippy, they make the files a joy to use. For the money I don't think you can buy better quality tools, in fact I'd be interested to see what a better quality file looks like! At a fiver each they really are excellent value. The pouch is functional but really just for display, it's the tools I'm interested in and they do not disappoint. Highly recommended, Bahco really do produce top quality tools.

High quality tools are a pleasure to use, and the results are reliable.The set includes:* sturdy flat* flexible tapered flat* tapered half round* three square (triangle)* square* needle roundOther than the obviously needle round, I'd categorise these as larger than "needle"; they're small, but not tiny.The cutting is very high quality, and the handles are comfortable to hold - made of black grippy rubber and orange hard plastic.The set comes in a fairly decent plastic wallet with a popper fastening, but other than for display this type of wallet is pretty useless IMO.

These files are of fantastic quality. They cut through metal and plastics very well and are incredibly sharp. They are also nice and small which allows you to smooth smaller edges with more precision. Definitly worth the money

Great quality, as I have come to expect from Bahco. These are perfect for when a needle file just isn't man enough for the job. I also have the 8" Bahco Engineers Files for when the going gets really tough.

These Files are in a nice "in between size. If you need files slightly larger than Needle Files, that are razor sharp look no further than these Bahco's

Typical Bahco (excellent) quality. Very fine-grained files though, particularly suitable for jobs where you want a really good finish but are not looking to remove all that much material.

Very nice quality. Ideal for smoothing off rough edges when you've been drilling or cutting brass, copper, aluminum etc. NOT wood files! :-)
