Canyon Cooler PRO65 Premium rotomolded Cooler Sandstone

I thought about getting a Yeti, but then I remembered buying a soft-cooler from Canyon a few years back and the value and quality are top notch. The price is on par to Yeti, but I prefer Canyon as it is local to me in Phoenix (Canyon is in Flagstaff, AZ.)Empty I can easily carry but it is big. Full w ice and goods needs two peeps, but after all, it's a 65qt unit. The lid closes tight with the rubber strap-downs. As expected it keeps items cold, especially during the hot summers here in Phoenix. I like the sand desert color, the plastic is high quality and it is built like a tank. My only complaint is the handles flop some while driving in my 4Runner. Highly recommended and buy local if you can. :)

After doing a lot of research I decided to go with the Canyon pro series cooler. I have quite a few different yeti products and so it came down to three coolers for me. The Yeti, the Orca and the Canyon.The reason I went with the canyon is not because those other brands don't do great things but because Canyon is purposefully different in ways that made sense to me!1) a no hassle lifetime warranty. No brainer. I couldn't get by the fact that these coolers are built for a lifetime of use but also that the Canyon stands behind that mantra. Compared to others 5 year warranty this made the most sense.2) Rectangular walls - While the shape of other coolers now are iconic, I've seen friends trying to pack their rigs with some difficulty with the mushroom shape tops. I love that the locks work with the walls of the cooler to create a very vertical effect3) the included cutting board/divider and culinary food tray - How many times have you had to move things off the cooler top to get inside. This is so easy to imagine that I'm not sure why others dont have something similar.4) Pro series latches - The design of the latches on the pro series is why I went with a few extra bucks. These locks utilize some of the same flex that other brands do but the latch feels more secure and so much easier to actually fasten/open. Im not worried about my wife or others being able to get at the drinks we need.Taking a two-week trip to the lake and beach. Excited to put this to the test and see how it really shines.

Great cooler for the price. It does what it’s supposed to do, keep ice and it has done so on my five day hunting trip. Temps ranged from the low 90 in the hottest part of the day down to the low 40 at night. Had it sitting in the back of my truck so sometimes it was in the sun and sometimes it wasn’t. Overall I would recommend this cooler to anyone and I would buy it again if I needed to.

Called the canyon cooler customer service line and actually got a person. Besides their amazing customer service reps. The cooler is very solid! Highly recommend this brand
