Audio Technica AT2020 Side Address Cardiod Condensor Studio Mic

After falling for the hype and buying a Shure, I wish I could go back in time and get this instead.I'm a mere mortal and not out here being a sound studio buff who needs the best of the best, but I feel like, for me, I got it with this microphone at this price.Less than half the price of the one I had before and sounds just as good. No annoying software to download, no frills, no headache. Just a very solid high quality microphone that fits most people's budget.It's functional, high quality, and I don't think I'll steer off of this brband for a while. This microphone has been recommended to me for years and I'm glad I finally grabbed it.

Sound quality is very good and no internal noise or anything. Keep in mind that it is very sensitive, you need a fairly quiet room. It picks up keyboard presses and mouse clicking very easily. Personally I like to hear these types of noises in my recordings and I don't have to talk loudly for it to pick up my voice. But if you are going for a more professional sound you will probably need a very quiet room and put it closer to your mouth so that you can turn down the gain. You also obviously need an xlr cable and an audio interface since it is not usb. The microphone feels very quality and fairly durable, not too heavy. Overall an extremely good value for the money condenser mic that should last a long time.

Great microphone to start streaming, or if you're trying to get into singing. The sound quality is crisp. It feels like a premium microphone for a budget-friendly choice!

I had been wanting to buy this for a while and I'm glad I did. This microphone sounds amazing! The sound quality is clear and picks up my voice really well, especially in those higher ranges. Im still a beginner in audio recording and this is the perfect budget microphone thats definitely gonna get you your money's worth. Highly recommend, plus it came in on time!

Product arrived fast and in good shape, which is a miracle considering the poorly done packaging. It came in the original box which was NOT sealed and was NOT inside a shipping box or envelope. This was a risky move by the shipper, Amazon, the seller or whoever is responsible for that part of the process because it was a rainy day and it could have very well been damaged. Luckily it didn't happen. The mic works well and has very good sound.

Great quality for the price, durable and not too heavy
