Adored By Son, But Extremely Flimsy
My 3-year-old boy loves Leo the Truck. It’s one of his favorite shows, and as a reward for good behavior over time, he was gifted what he’d been begging for: his very own Leo.Within days of normal play, cracks started appearing and parts started falling off, specifically the gas tank. This was distressing to my son, he felt like a friend was getting hurt and in pain. The plastic is thin and feels cheap, and while the truck is EXTREMELY cute, a significant portion of ours is now duct tape just because my son can’t bear to let it go.If your child can handle fine bone china and living butterflies without making you nervous, this would make a fine gift. Otherwise it might save you a lot of grief to say, “sorry, they don’t make Leo toys.”
