gives a good smooth finish and is surprisingly good at getting the edges smooth
This is great for a handy drywall sander . my uncle does dry wall and asked me to get it for him . he said that its easy to hold . doesn't hurt his shoulder and is quite effective considering power is only 110. it gives a smooth finish and gets rid of edges very fast . overall hes happy with it considering he spent 500 on a different sander same quality if not worse . Very handy for finished houses just for renovations

Hardly any dust, I love it and my biceps are turning into ‘guns’
I’m currently using the sander for walls and ceilings in a detached house, so I’ll tell you what I like first. It’s great at reducing dust and can be used without a respirating machine on standby. The led lights are a great feature and so is its ability to get the surface nice and flat. What I don’t like is it’s weight and noise.Your going to need ear defenders and biceps of steel to keep this thing against a ceiling.I’m assuming that most makes are the same and your fighting the laws of physics, (gravity). My only advice in this regard, is to clear the floor of all obstacles and hold the machine as upright as possible and straight. Also get a lower grit set of sanding discs when you purchase because the ones supplied, although fine, they won’t sand away quickly enough if your removing loads of filler.I’ve not used it for a few days and all I can think about is how much my arms are going to ache when I use it again, so prepare to build muscle and do it in bursts of a few minutes and have a rest with ceilings, walls are much easier to sand with it..The good thing is that it shifts whatever your sanding fast and that is very satisfying to watch.I’m glad I bought it with the dust collection system because your definitely going to need it.

Very sturdy build quality and works brilliantly
This is a good and robust piece of kit, took a couple of pictures while unboxing it and very impressed with build quality. Not really practical to get a picture in use, but it gets the small imperfections out in seconds and removes the majority of dust during the process, the led lights are a nice touch too as we are often working in sites without mains electricity working off a generator and any extra lighting is greatly appreciated. Very happy with this purchase.

Dust Collection Works Really Well
I'll start my review by saying for my use I should have got the handheld version, but that was my mistake not that of the product. Unless you are doing a lot of high level or ceiling work and you are of a reasonable height, get a hand sander. This is a great product, I found it very useful when doing my first ever drywall project recently. The LED lights are very useful and the dust collection work extremely well when connected to a vac. It's noisy especially with the shop vac on as well, but a bit of PPE sorts that out.I found myself wanting to use it as a hand sander more than at the end of the pole. But I think that was my particular project. It makes light work of ceiling work. The sanding pads are of good quality, I got the pack of extras. You can easily tell when you need to swap them out, but I didn't feel I was having to do that any more often than any other sander I've used. The included bag is a nice touch and very handy to keep it away from my other tools, as it does get a bit dusty.Overall very happy with this product, well build and is a complete kit of everything you'll need.

Easy to use
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. We have been doing a lot of renovation work on the house and one large room had been reboarded so needed something to even out the filler between the boards.Since I'm no professional and only plan on using the kit occasionally I wanted to make sure I got good value for money, I didn't want to pay loads.I have bought things under the tacklife brand in the past and found them really good.Anyways it came FBA and was pretty straight forward to set up. It is effective to use and has done a good job evening out the surfaces before we paint.Nice kit, pleased with it

Great quality sander for large areas
Bought the wall sander to sort out some old, very badly plastered kitchen walls. The sander itself takes a while to get used to and balance, but once you get used to it or a a. The led lights built in make it very easy to identify uneven points.Seems to be very well built and sturdy. The built in dust extraction works surprisingly well.A couple of small niggles are that the extending arm can be stiff and the extension arm must be used to attach the dust bag. But these are minor and do not merit removing a star.Otherwise a great item, that whilst a little difficult to get the hang of, that is much easier and cheaper than replastering.

Improved after sales
Machine ok was missing some gaskets which supplier said they could not replace did give me a discount and said to buy some myself. Took two emails to get response. Tack life offered a full refund which I have accepted. Their after sales have improved with regular contact. Hopefully they have also improved their factory QC to avoid missing parts.

I didnt know how to use it successfully
I'm not a professional and thought this would remove wall paint. I found it hard to use, took so long to remove just a bit of paint, I had to keep changing the sanding paper.... i tried several but it didnt work. Contact me if you want to buy it of me.. lol
