I'm 6'7" and head down to the beach almost every weekend. I was tired of lugging my large beach mat down there. Made for 3 total packs to schlep down the cliffs. The media could not be loaded.  After 2 days of research, I settled upon this blanket. I know seems dramatic, but my squad is taking picnics and beach trips very serious this year. After another sandy duvet -- I had enough. I was sent off to find an actual blanket! This ended up being large enough for my 6 person group. I haven't taken it to the beach yet, but a park picnic worked very well. The stakes kept it steady enough on a very windy day. They easily pierced the ground. Even my 6 year old easily did it. The material is plastic so no stains or rips and soft enough to enjoy without a blanket.One of the best features is the bag it comes with it fits the stakes and the blanket (folded of course). Now I can throw away all those silly duvets and have extra space in the beach bag. Great purchase!

It’s easy carry to travel, cane with a bag which is attached to the beach mat and I like the color very much. This size also perfect for to sit 4 to 5 people, it’s a slippery material as sand will not be stick to it, it’s came with stakes which holds the mat as secure and it will not go away if wind comes.

Very cheap material and gets very hot in Sun , it got so hot my kids couldn't even go on it.. That was the point of buying it for beach but I can't use it because it gets burning hot...

So the product arrived very quickly and I'm noticing its plastic or like that windbreaker material so I'm wondering once you place this down on the hot sand and the sun begins to beat on it like the oven is on 500 Degrees will you burn your skin and you still need to place a sheet over it so what is the point of it? Place the product on the sand use the spikes to hold it down and still place a sheet over this product which the sheet will still blow away I'm very confused I'm interested in trying the product but right now I'm ready to return it cuz it doesn't make sense. So I'm going to give it a rating of a 3/4 overall but I'm pretty sure this product will heat up once it's on the sand and indirect sunlight

This product is very lightweight and easily transported. Expected the Sand Free blanket not to collect sand. There was still a great amount of sand on the blanket, however, it was very easy to brush the sand off and no sand grain would stay behind. The blanket was in direct heat and it did not get hot. I was very worried initially but after 6 hours in the sun the blanket did not heat up. My overall disappointment was I did not have a sand proof area at the beach.

This blanket was supposed to drain off water and sand. Ummmm, nope, it didn’t. Definitely was a lightweight place to sit on the beach but the bag isn’t big enough to fold up the blanket and stow it away after the initial purchase. The sand came off of it well before stowing it away, but it definitely held lots of sand while being used and the water drops stayed on top of the blanket until shaken off. I still like it though.

I purchased this to take on a cruise, so that when we are in port and at the beach if we were unable to get beach chairs we would just be able to roll this out and relax. I like this beach blanket and am also satisfied with the quality of the product.
