ProCoach RS-013 Water Resistant Sports Stopwatch with Time and Alarm Function

Bought these (12 units) for our rec swim team to replace stopwatches that were showing their age and wear.We use these for our Timers to hand record each racer's time as a backup to our digital automated system.These timers have substantial functionality, are easy to use, with clear and easy to read displays. The buttons are correctly sized for an assortment of hand sizes.We plan to get a few years use out of these and it looks like they'll hold up well to water and chlorine conditions.Well priced and good quality, these stopwatches are a win.

I love this. It is so easy to use! And I'm using it in a tough gardening chore where it is often wet. And it just sloughs off the water. It's easy to set, easy enough to use with one hand, it's a good size that I would imagine makes it universal usage. It always reverts back to the time of day when not in use. Super price. Great Seller.

Seems to function okay. Instructions were decent and I was able to figure out how to set it. There is NO countdown timer, but they never said there was. Just be aware if you need that functionality.I'm returning my unit. Seems very lightweight. Maybe this is an advantage, but to me it just feels cheap. Also, the top button had a bit of a double click to it, which seemed to add to the "cheapness". Seemed to function okay, but I didn't keep it long enough to actually test it out. Opt'ing for another, different unit.

This stopwatch fits in hand nicely. Easy to use. Comes with Clear instruction leaflet. Operates as a normal watch when stopwatch mode not in use. No idea how long the batteries will last though as you can not stop the watch completely..It is as good as stopwatches that cost a lot more.The switches actuate with a firm click which is tactile and audible. And they are firm enough so that they are unlikely to be accidentally activated.This stopwatch is somewhat large, with a large LCD display, and it's waterproof. After usage in water, you might notice water droplets under the back side of the case. I think this is normal and water has not entered past the sealed inner compartment. Exposing it to the sun bottom-side up for a few hours dries out the non-sealed outer part of the compartment..I wear the stopwatch around my neck while I do distance running. Very lightweight and with all the "right" functionalityDrawback is that it never turns off. Hence the four stars ... we should be able to save the battery life if we want too.I purchased this product at a discounted price for my honest and fair review

With all the choices of stopwatches, I chose this one because it looked good and it fell in the level of not the most expensive and not the cheapest. I asked the company a question regarding the battery ( which will last about two years and can be replaced by removing four screws in the back and buying a common new battery) and received a detailed response the next day. The stopwatch is working well and I really like the display.

It almost seems as if they spent more on the packaging than the watch. It came in a nice substantial feeling box, with a plastic card indicating the website to visit in order to find out how to use the watch. That in itself is annoying. I do not want to do more work for something I just want to use out of the box. If you don't save the card and try to search for the directions online, the majority of what pops up are sites to buy the stopwatch or review it. Which is how I landed here. Without the directions the watch becomes a nuisance, beeping at odd intervals or every hour, whenever you inadvertently set an alarm you had no idea about and couldn't locate easily because no directions come in the fancy box. Tip for the seller...trim back on the packaging and add a set of directions...this is lipstick on a pig.

I actually use this stop watch to take data on my autistic clients. It is a great product in general and the stopwatch works perfectly. The size is just right too, not too small and not too big. I have not had any issues and would buy again.

I picked this stopwatch because it is water resistant, while some others are not.I am pleased to find that it is pretty intuitive. The essential instructions are on the inside cover of the box and take all of 5 short paragraphs. This one cost me $10, but I find that the price is now up $4 just a few days later.It works. It has the split timer. It is fairly simple. Does everything I expect of a stopwatch.
