I liked Diva Cup very much
I am a second-time menstrual cup user, my first being the Diva Cup. I liked Diva Cup very much, but decided to try a different option for my next purchase. The first thing I noticed about Luna Cup, is that the cup part is a bit thinner than Diva Cup, and this is where I ran into my learning curve. Diva would pop open with very little coaxing after insertion, but Luna takes a little bit more working to get it situated just so. I used the "bear down and twist" approach, where you sort of bear down a bit, and give the cup a 360 degree rotation until you feel it open up.Honestly, if you run into any issues with the cup, the company sends you amazing, informative emails with your purchase to answer *any* questions you could have. I'm confident any woman could use these. The bag Luna Cup comes with is very pretty and discreet, and *much* sturdier than the flimsy bag my Diva Cup came in, which unfortunately ripped shortly after opening. Also, to help other ladies, some information about me: I am a mother of two, I had two c-sections, but still opted for the "large" cup. 32 years old, 5' tall.

Would recommend
Let me start out by saying the first few times you use this, it will be difficult to insert and remove, and it IS MESSY. You can't feel it once it's inserted, and if you use the large cup it is more difficult to insert and remove. I don't think using toilet paper or tissues is very sanitary for cleaning when you're in a public restroom, so I'd recommend keeping disposable feminine wipes or a pack of flushable wipes in your purse/bag. They're cheap and do a good job of cleaning the cup on the go. Definitely a good alternative to tampons as you don't have to worry about using the wrong absorbancy as your flow changes throughout your cycle, and you don't have to empty it as often as you'd have to change a tampon. I do use a very thin panty liner when my flow is heavier, and I recommend using either that or a pad when you're first getting the hang of insertion.

Fabulous customer service!
My review is for the Luna cup in general. I accidentally order a large, but wasn’t going to try to return or exchange it because I had used it. I was very impressed with the cup, but it was painful & akward to use with it being so big.The seller reached out to me to see how I liked it, and if I had any questions. I mentioned how the large was ordered by mistake & they offered to send me a small free of charge!! The small is a much better fit. Very comfortable, easy insert & remival, easy clean, and stores in a bag when not in use. I’m telling all the women I know about it because I think it’s a brilliant idea & I love that it saves me money & good for the planet!

Perfect for Sizing Up
I have been using a cup since I was 18 and recently have been struggling with leaks every cycle. I am a little below the 25 mark of when it is suggested to size up to a large cup but I figured I would try it out since the other cup would move around a little too freely and leak constantly on my heavy days. I AM SO GLAD I DID. This cup is soft and fits perfectly, just like when I first tried my original cup when I was 18. I have had no leaking problems, it doesn't irritate me, and the pouch it came with is super cute. This cup is actually a little more comfortable than my other cup because it's softer and the stem doesn't bother me at all. Very happy I made the switch and chose Luna!

Difficult to remove!
I love the idea of this, but this one has such a short and tiny stem, that its extremely difficult to latch onto to remove. You may want to consider a different one. Mine went to the trash after almost asking someone else for help to remove it. Thankfully I got it, but damn that sucked!

I've used the Diva, Lena, and Mooncup. I prefer this one over the others.
I've used the Diva, Lena, and Mooncup. I prefer this one over the others. I think the best thing about it is the ease of getting it out. The silicone seems thinner and more pliable, that could have something to do with it. The shape is perfect for me--no need to cut the stem off. Overall really happy with this one!

No Leaks!
This was my first attempt at using a period cup. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. It did not leak but I checked if frequently considering I wasn't very familiar with this product. It also worked well while sleeping. I ended up purchasing a different cup due to the size of the opening. To ensure it won't leak I'm purchasing a cup with a larger opening.

If you’re on the fence, hop down and buy this!
I haven’t been able to use tampons for some time due to irritation and other issues. I don’t like pads since they feel like wearing a diaper. I’m also self-conscious of possible odors and leaking. I started looking for alternatives and researched many options. A cup seemed like the best thing for me. I have been using a menstrual cup for over a year now. I decided to try this brand and it works REALLY well for me. I like the feel and the ease of usage. I’ll never go back to tampons and pads again! This has been a huge blessing. I no longer get massive cramps or other issues that came along with tampons.
