Q: I have a very small mouse, I guess you could call her the runt and I was thinking of getting this for her, do you see any reason I shouldn't?

This is ideal. I have a tiny mouse as well & a few others, in a separate Habitrail habitat, which has slightly larger tubes. This cage is perfect for the smaller mouse to climb up the tubes & everything else. Very satisfied & highly recommend!

Q: Does this set come with the "block" toy inside? I cant tell!!

The block you are seeing is actually part of a "house". It has stairs leading up to a container for food and underneath Is a compartment they can tunnel into and hide. We had some problems with the water bottle not always delivering water and our dwarf hamster was not able to go through the tunnels when they were vertical. That said, however, when the tunnels were all lying in horizontal rings this gave us a great view of our hamsters and they seemed to enjoy it very much. The additional housing compartment is wonderful if you ever need to take your little guy to the vet. We ended up buying more tunnels and more pieces and made pretty elaborate housing complexes.

Q: My hamsters aren't used to the tubes, do you think they will get used to it?

Put a peanut in the top and they will climb to it. I have two different dwarf hamsters each in their own habitat and they both use the tubes.

Q: can this be added to the cristal hamster habitat?

Yes it can. In fact that's how my girlfriend has her's setup. Keep in mind that in order to set it up like picture you'll need more parts.
