Doll School (Revised) (American Girl) Hardcover – February 15, 2013

I was quite taken with this book/kit. It has all sorts of charming items, including an art easel, a fold up milk carton just like the real school has, report cards, a book case, and much more. A lot of these props, can be used for other play, beyond the school theme. The ideas and projects are not only fun to make, but will inspire conversation as well. Ask Grandma and Grandpa what school was like in their day, etc. The one negative is that there is absolutely no computer learning play included.. What about a fold up and play lap top, or tablet for the dolls.? Even kindergarten students use lap tops now. Let's bring our "girls/dolls into the new century......

I bought this as a gift for one of my nieces. They have a wonderful time playing school with each other and their AG dolls. The only downside to these kits is that once they're opened, it seems like the pieces and supplies are everywhere. Might be beneficial to have a storage tub or something similar to keep all these AG kit pieces together.

This is a very cool for older kids . My 7 year old was almost too young. There are a lot of little pieces that she needed help tearing out. Took over 2 hours to set up but she loves playing "teacher" with her AG dolls!

My just turned 7 year granddaughter set every other gift aside. She was totally lost in exploring, organizing and planning her "school" for her American Girl dolls. We even had to "force" her to get ready for birthday cake and candle blowing. This is going to occupy her for weeks to come. She is a 2nd grader, and loves school herself. The role playing ahead of her will be extremely beneficial.

this kit has a lot of fun stuff in it. Girls loved the math and spelling tests and the grade cards. The easel is a bit fragile and tips over easily. All in all- a lot of fun

We had so much fun setting up a school scene for my granddaughters! I had two American Girl Doll desks-one made for Molly and one made for Kit. I also got the large cardboard school scene picture from American Girl. This set was a great addition to set up the school for the dolls. My granddaughters and I have had fun with it!

My 9 year old daughter had a brilliant idea of laminating the contents so that she can re-use the items. This is cute and fun for the teachers at heart!

Not opened and seen all the little bits inside but looks great. My niece will be thrilled as she is a huge American Girl fan and loves her little American Girl Doll

My daughter has had endless fun with this, it includes an easle with whiteboard on one side and blackboasrd on the other, books, spelling tests, maps, attendance register waths works, and ideas for setting up a class room. worth every penny

"It's really cool how the book actually opens and you can read it to your doll" - said my daughter.
