I really wanted to love these and give them 5 stars. I have rosewood knitting needles and they are by far my favorite, but the quality on these kitchen utensils is lacking. First off, when I took them out of the shipping bag, I wasn't even sure they were all rosewood. 2 of the utensils are half pale (see pictures). I understand the unique coloration natural wood can have, but I honestly thought they slapped some birch next to the rosewood and called it a day. The other star was docked because the cutouts are completely unsanded/unfinished. There were splinters coming off the center circle of the curved spatula. This utensil is now completely useless to me until I get some sandpaper because I don't want to be ingesting wood splinters. The handles are also not uniform. Some of the handles get very narrow near the cooking surface, while others are uniform the whole way down. I'm not sure if this was done on purpose, but it looks rather cheap.

I am new to bachelor-hood, so a lot of this stuff is new to me. These are cool utensils, but faded after the first wash. I then oiled them and they look pretty good. overall,yea I would recommend them. They are not cheap, but not high class fancy. A good starting point for a new home until you get back on your feet!

Gorgeous wooden Utensils! Glad I decided to order these over plastic utensils. Love how they look in my kitchen also. Works well with my new non-stick pans.

Excellent set. Well constructed and comfortable to use.

Looked nice- when it came in. Used a couple, made sure to handwash in luke warm water and the stain is already coming off after two uses. Never put in the dishwasher. Looks good but thats about it. Disappointed.
