Mulberry Silk All Season Weight Comforter, Queen

I’ve been using this OOSILK 100% Mulberry Silk Filled Comforter for a few weeks now and I must say that I am impressed. Now I will say that this comforter does not make the bed itself, it does not tuck me in at night on its own and it does not kick me out of bed in the morning after I’ve hit the snooze button too many times. BUT, given the price point, I will say that there are plenty of great benefits of using this silk comforter. It’s great for regulating my body temperature – I don’t feel the need to kick this off at night because I’m too hot. A silk filled comforter is a natural temperature regulator, make you cool in summer and warm in winter, great for people who are have night sweats.The comforter has a nice weight to it, but it’s not REALLY heavy – it’s very comfortable and soothing to lie under. This comforter is made of 100% mulberry silk filling and because silk is a natural protein, it’s hypoallergenic and is a natural deterrent for dust mites! AND, there was no weird smell when I opened the package!As for cleaning, silk comforters are the easy to maintain. With property usage, no washing or dry cleaning is required, mostly due to silksnature of being mildew and mold resistant. Proper usage implies using a duvet cover at all times to protect the silk comforter, so only cleaning of the duvet cover is necessary. However, if you really need to clean the silk comforter for whatever reason, then either spot cleaning by hand is the preferred cleaning method. Please note that frequent washing may damage the layering system of the silk comforter, so it is not recommended to machine wash the silk comforter unless it is absolutely necessary.Benefits of using a silk comforter:BreathableSilk, being a natural product is breathable and so enables your body to maintain a more stable temperature. Not a Country of Origin, No List of Contents, Nor a Manufacture's Name, No "Fabric Care" instructions were with my comforter. The Queen-size comforter measured 87" by 90", and weighed 6.73-pounds, (3053-grams). It has a 5"-zipper for stuffing access. All four-corners have a hoop for duvet buttons. Twice, the stitching was unraveling. Mine arrived in cut & altered box. Inside the box, the Queen comforter packed a sealed plastic bag, and nothing more. DId I received a used comforter?I will return and buy another Amazon comforter.

I was expecting more from this comforter. I keep my heat around 63-64 at night and I'm a tad chilly still with this comforter. I previously had an all season down comforter that felt just right. Unfortunately I found the down to be problematic as feathers were always shedding from it. In the end I decided to get a thin blanket to put under this comforter. It was just enough to get to the temperature I'm used to.

I'm a fan of silk comforters and have had one for years. This replaced it and did not disappoint me. It is generous in size and is a warm, yet light comforter that I can use all year. The quality is excellent and came with ties on the corners for a duvet. I've ordered the duvet from Linoto.

Lightweight, just the right amount of warmth, soft and luxurious feeling, but fabric is pilling. I don't know what to do about this problem. To put a cover over it would change the warmth. I guess I'll save the little silk threadings and balls and either return them and complain or make pillow stuffing! Rather expensive for it to be doing this.

Perfect mulberry silk comforter. I so regretted not getting a silk comforter when I was in China, and now my regrets are resolved. Nothing tops mulberry silk.

i was unsure of this product but I am proven wrong. I am trying to purchase more like this one. This is a high quality comforter. it is all it says and more.

This comforter is stellar. I live in a 100 year old house that is expensive to heat, so in the winter time we keep it coooooold at night. This has gotten me through the coldest of nights feeling toasty, and is also girlfriend approved. It's fine for summer too, you don't get overheated. You'll want to get a nice cover for it, as it seems that it would get dirty easily.
