My son at 3months had developed a horrible flat spot that was super dented in
This pillow worked wonders! My son at 3months had developed a horrible flat spot that was super dented in. 2 weeks of using this pillow while he sleeps and while he lays on the floor on his playmat and the flat spot is almost gone!! Before pic is on the left, after 2 weeks on the right!

Helped fix my baby’s flat had.
I purchased this because my son was 3 months old when I noticed he was getting a flat head.I didn’t want him to have to wear a helmet and although his doctor said it would go away, I wanted to be proactive. This comes with two cases which is wonderful when I’m washing one I can use the other. It also has a little well in the bottom of the pillow that accommodates baby’s head which is what helps shape it.The pillow helped prevent flat head getting worse in my son and now his head is back to regular shape. I’m not sure if it’s time passing, tummy time, the pillow, or a combination but I don’t regret purchasing this at all.Anything that helps is great in my book. If you’re worried about flat head, definitely get this!I dropped one star because I wish this had a strap so we can wrap around my baby’s mattress. My son always wakes up with his head off the pillow now but this could also be because he’s restless sometimes in his sleep.

I'm happy to say that we've noticed significant improvement in her ...
Based on all the info about cribs needing to be free of all suffocation hazards, we were not going to put anything pillow-like in DD's crib... Flat out, NO. But since DD arrived a month prior to her due date, she spent a lot of time sleeping and was only awake a few hours of the day. She wasn't really doing much productive tummy time, and we noticed she was really getting a flat head :( Grandma sent one of these cherish baby pillows to us, and since DD wasn't rolling over yet, we figured we'd try it for supervised naps. I'm happy to say that we've noticed significant improvement in her head shape. She also seems to toss less, and settle down to sleep for naps more comfortably with this head support, than just sleeping on the mattress alone. It's also great to use for mobile watching and activity mat time. We bought a second one, so we don't have to bring it back and forth from her crib. I will note that we feel comfortable continuing to use this pillow as DD has not begun rolling over yet, and she sleeps in a merlin suit which does help to keep her on her back.

Saved us $5,000
I wish we would have bought this earlier. Our babies were born premature and they started using the donut pillow in the NICU. We tried to take it with us and were told no, its too dangerous. We get home and after a few months start noticing how flat their heads are. We try our best to keep them off their heads but there is only so much you can do when you have twin newborns. We were referred to a clinic to look at the roundness of their head and were told they needed to "immediately" both be fitted to a doc band - $2500 each. We were not having it and luckily we have a very pragmatic pediatrician. She stated that those clinics have never NOT stated they need to be fit up immediately. As long as it has some curvature and is symmetrical, there is no need for a doc bang. We went into action buying this, a doc-a-tot, and a few more seats. Anytime they were on their heads we put these pillows underneath. It worked and at our last checkup they pediatrician said their heads looked good and symmetrical.

I hadn't expected it to work this well.
At 6 months doctor appointment, I was shocked to hear I have to evaluate my kid for head helmet as he had a bad flat spot. As that option was difficult for my budget, I was looking for other options. I stumbled upon this product and thought to give it a try. After 3 weeks of continuous use, I am pleasantly surprised. Flat spot got reduced considerably. I am really happy that I tried this product.

Does not work
I bought this pillow for my 10 week old son after noticing that he is favoring his left side and a flat spot was beginning to form. It doesn't work and still allows him to turn to his left side unless it's during the day and I can physically move his head to the center or to the right. The tough part is during the night when go to sleep. I wake up to find my son has wiggled off the pillow and he is nowhere near it. I wouldn't buy it again.

Love this pillow!
Love this pillow and and so did my baby! She was getting a pretty flat head around 2 and half months old, so I bought this pillow for daytime play activities, changing her, and putting in the bouncer since it still allowed her to turn her head if she wanted but kept her from laying on a flat surface. Her head is so much better in just a month! It has just the right curvature! And I love that it came with an extra pillowcase in case she spit up, I had an extra :) we recommended it to our friends who just had a baby - if you're hesitating to buy, you wont be disappointed!

It is alright
Our son loves sleeping on one side of his head. We purchased this to help with rounding out his head in hopes to avoid a helmet later. So far it is ok but even with the use of a wedge and attempts to prop his head to the other side, he still enjoys that one side. Because he isnt sleeping looking at the ceiling, I don't see where this is helping much to be honest. Maybe we just have been too late. His head is looking some what better with the use of the wedge but all in all, I'm not too sure how well this works AFTER having some flat spot issues. It may work better if used as soon as possible. That being said though, my son loves sleeping on it. It's obviously very comfortable. If you want a safe pillow for your little one, I suggest it. But if needing to help with flat spots, I'd look elsewhere. It's easy to clean as I tend to just throw the whole pillow in the wash because baby's spit up and it just soaks it up. It has washed well and is holding up just fine.
