American Drum Rubber Glockenspiel Mallets - Pair, Hard

these made my Angel brand toy glockenspiel sound like something worth actually playing.

I got our 1.5yr old a real xylophone as I don't like cheap toys. It didn't take long for him to break the wooden mallets that came with it. I ordered these to try them. They have tough nylon shafts that will be hard to break. I drilled a hole in each handle & tied them to his xylophone with 275# 1/8" paracord. That'll also solve the problem of him losing them under the couch. If you have young kids these appear to be a good choice but thoroughly inspect them for defects first. They have no potential for sharp points and felt indestructable when I tried to break one or pull the ball off. Just don't tie them with too long of a cord so a toddler can't get it stuck around their neck. These sound good too and play nicer then wood mallets for me.

A little short, but work well

I bought these for a friend to be used on a glockenspiel in our church worship team. She had some other mallets already, but it was hard to hear her through the mix. These mallets are nice and big, while still allowing accuracy. They allow her to chime through the mix much better than before. I recommend these to anybody looking for glockenspiel or xylophone mallets.

I wasn't sure about ordering these because I thought they would be a little too short, but they worked out fine. My grandchildren use them for their glockenspiel. They are well made for the price.

These are great for kids. My 8 yo uses them and they have a great grip and not terribly loud for practicing.

Produces the best sound quality.

Very well made and easy to get a clear sound from the Glock.
