Charles Magnante Accordion Sheet Music CD - Vol. 2 - 12 Arrangements

During my 14 years of serious lessons with an extremely good instructor I played a lot of arrangements by Galla-Rini, Pietro Diero, Pietro Frosini and Charles Magnante. Magnate was my favorite (although not by much). His arrangements are frequently difficult, but with practice, a serious player can have some great show pieces to perform..As i said in my review of Galla-Rini, I will probably never get to the level I had achieved 35 yr ago, but with the aid of a composer program and a couple of conversion programs I may get these into a midi format so that i can at least listen to them again.Magnante may be my favorite because I had the opportunity to meet him years ago and hear his fabulous interpretations of various songs. Also, I was set up to have finish lessons with him (at $100.00/ hr in the 60's), but decided against a music career and didn't follow thru. My mistake!!!Highly recommend his music!!

The archiving and availability of Magnante's arrangements is a blessing for all accordionists, young and old! It is wonderful to have access to Magnante's excellent work ... the .pdf files print beautifully for me.
