Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel, 5.6 Fl Oz

Miracle product! I use it on body and face. Like many I discovered the miracle of RealChemistry from Birch box (the face version) and started buying it regularly. But I was using the facial product so frequently (basically has cured me of my acne) that I would go through the 1.7oz in ~2weeks and that was getting toooo expensive. So I tried the body peel on my face and it worked for me (and much more cost effective). It is definitely more potent than the facial product and additionally has exfoliating beads so can be more intense. But personally my face (and body) responds well to it.I have always had acne but as I get older my acne has changed. I now get deep painful zits with hard cores along my jaw and neck. With time (and RealChemistry) I realize these zits are related to my dry skin not sloughing properly but RealChemistry has basically cured this problem. I use it on my face following the same directions every other day and then apply coconut oil or another thick moisturizing cream. I use it in the morning so the my makeup looks flawless (no more visible flakes of skin from powder or foundation). For my body I use it whenever I have the time since that much skin takes at least 20mins.

This body peel is excellent, albeit a bit addictive ;) It is easy to use, exfoliates very well without being too abrasive or irritating to sensitive skin. My skin feels and looks soft and smooth and after using.I ended up exfoliating just about every part of my body I could reach. It is a messy process with the remnants of skin, so best done in the shower, or over a sink for face or hands. In my opinion the body peel works better than the face product (bought both), as long as one is careful not to get in eyes. In addition it works wonders on cuticles. Could not be happier with my purchase, highly recommend!

I'm 57, have very oily skin, and I still get blemishes. This really helps with the healing blemishes and with that rough "end of winter" skin. It gets all of the dry layers and flakes off of my face, and my makeup goes on much more smoothly. It won't dry your skin out, it just clears away any buildup and dead skin, and preps it for a good moisturizer.I got a teeny bit of this in a Birchbox, bought a larger tube at an exorbitant price, and when I found that I could order it in this pouch, I was thrilled. I love this stuff.

Effective but not the most value for your money

This is a must have product for me. I’ve been using this brand for a few years now. I use retinol as part of my beauty routine, so my skin peals from that. I put some of this on whenever I’m pealing and I come out glowing. I don’t buy the face version of this because it is too expensive and the pump sucks, but the body formula is only slightly less effective for me so in my mind it’s worth the compromise.

This was okay. I was looking to buy the luminous 3 minute face peel but bought this instead after some reviewers said the body version worked just as well on the face... sadly I just did not find that to be the case. I did also try it on my body, but it still wasn’t what I expected. I’m sticking to the 3 minute luminous face peel for my face and sticking to dry brushing for the bod.

Gets the gunk out of my pores and yes, I use it on my face. I received this in a Birchbox years ago like everyone else. I ordered the body portion on a lark once, and decided to try it on my face. Boy am I glad I did. It’s such a better value and it works just as well on my face as the original product. It does have a mental component which means that you cannot get it near your eyes. That’s the only drawback. This product is a 10 out of 10 though. Great value, and totally removed every hint of oil and gunk from my face.

I love the face product and purchased the body product by mistake…. After contacting the company let told me to keep the body product as a Christmas gift and sent out the face product immediately!! I am now a customer for life!!! EXCELLENT SERVICE AND PRODUCT!!!
