Works as advertised. No sided effects great product.

Seems like a good quality supplement.I had to give it 5 stars to offset some of the ridiculous 1 star reviews, specifically people complaining about it only having 26mg of extract compared to the 100mg it used to have. The bottle on the left is the new one, the bottle on the right is the old one. If you notice, it has 26mg of 25% phytosterols, whereas the old bottle has 100mg of 6.5% phytosterols. Savvy consumers who have also passed 5th grade math class will notice that these are *the same amount* of phytosterols.

I have been taking pygeum and stinging nettle root for years, along with other prostate medications. I had a minimally invasive prostate procedure about a year ago, and was able to get off medications. I still take pygeum and stinging nettle root, and started taking saw palmetto again. Have these supplements made a difference? I wish I could give an affirmative yes, but truth be known, I started taking them at my original onset of symptoms, but eventually had to resort to medication to be able to void without catherazation. In spite of this, I still feel that these supplements to contribute to overall prostate health.I have found over time that Swanson supplements appear to be a quality product, and generally sold at a reasonable price.

Product arrived next day. Noticed benefits for my prostate issue within first week. Taking one capsule twice a day. This particular product is 400mg dose vs other lower dose offerings

The purchase was good and delivery was fast. Now to see if the product helps any.

After further review...... I took this for almost a year. I initially thought that it helped as I indicated below, but after several more months I concluded that the change was not that noticeable. So I stopped....with no noticeable changes. I have concluded that it may work for some, but it's not worth taking for me.This supplement seems to be effective in helping the symptoms of BPH. I added this to the typical things my urologist prescribed so for me it is not a substitute for presciption medication. After taking this for a couple of months I get up less often at night, which is a real plus. I especially like the fact that all my research indicates that there are no known side effects. So I am pleased at this point and I will continue to buy and use it - I take one pill twice per day. To date this is the only non-prescription supplement that has helped me. Other companies sell Pygeum for a lot more but the Swanson version is only a few bucks a month including shipping. One bottle last me 60 days. I have not had success in finding this in stores so I pay for shipping and the product arrives within a few days.

They have 2 products, despite this being the "superior" one, they are honestly the same in my opinion, but I contacted customer support and got this reply. Overall this has been a good supplement for me.
