Perfect tool organizer/prtector
The product itself is awesome, looks great and holds up well. But that's all on the user and a very sharp blade! I've used it in both Milwaukee packouts and my garage box and I'm very happy with how things are, but I have scraped a few pieces and had to start over which isn't fun but it's a quick learning curve and everything stays right where you want it!

Works Great
Great product. Im not sure why people complained about being difficult to pick and not square. My sheet was square so I only had to make 2 cuts for my single drawer. I also had no issues picking it at all. You just have to make a nice straight cut with a SHARP blade and then peel it up as one solid piece. Don't try and pull from the top. Get your finger under there and peel it up like you are peeling up a stuck piece of tape and keep doing that. It won't be 100% flat but who cares, it's to support tools and what not. You can get fancy with a hot knife, soldering iron or other tool.TIP: Take some painters tape and put that down first, then you can draw out your tools. 2nd Tip: Take the painters tape and it apply it to your jeans/shirt first a few times. I found the painters tape DID pull up some of the black material if pushed down too hard but it worked GREAT to lay out my tools.

The white version is harder to work with, but cool effect.
I love this stuff and it's great for people who are OCD about organizing their tools like me. You can cut the foam to the overall size of your drawer and then spend a good deal of time planning how to organize the tools prior to cutting out the pockets One thing I noticed having used the solid black stuff a lot is that while the black stuff separates fairly easily along the layers when using proper technique (start peeling the layer back and then get finger into that seam by wedging your fingers into it - DON'T just grab and pull up or it will tare out unevenly) this white product doesn't separate nearly as well and I had to go back through with a flat razor and shave it down flat. It's not the end of the world since once you're tools are in place you don't see the bottom of the pockets you've created, but it's much harder to make the bottom off the cutouts totally flat. Also, I haven't tried melting it as I've sometimes done with the black foam, but I'm guessing the white foam might get discolored since the white would show that more than black. When I say I melt it: I take a piece of copper pipe and heat it up with a torch and then plunge half of it into the foam to make finger pockets to aid in removing tools from the foam that don't have an easy way to get them out otherwise; use a similar technique using a smaller piece of metal to make perfect cylindrical pockets to organize driver bits and such.Anyway, I love kaizen foam - once you get the hang of it you can really dial in any project or tool box and it's pretty reasonably priced. The black stuff is easier to work with but this type IS a cool look with the black face and white cutouts. See photos of both solid black foam and this white/black foam.

Great for chair padding too!
Do you hate sitting on a foam cushion only to feel like sitting on the wood? We used these as cushion under foam when recovering cushions. Works great!

Excellent for secure tool storage
Used to create cordless tool storage in Milwaukee Packout boxes. Purchased 2'X4' piece. Granted it takes time and patience cutting tool cutouts. Cut large pieces apart with fine tooth hacksaw blade and xacto knife for cutouts. Although layers don't separate evenly, found that making horizontal cut to start peeling helped. Sharp blade worked OK to smooth areas where peeling wasn't even. On a couple of heavier tools, fed Velcro straps through foam that help to hold tools in place if toolbox is carried on side. Created excellent protection and storage of these tools keeping them from damage by rattling around in tool box or bag. Since I already owned these cordless tools, didn't need to spend amount to purchase Packout boxes with tools included. Purchasing foam in bulk size saved about 50% from Milwaukee's cost for precut foam which would still need to be cut to fit tools. Well worth the time and patience to cut my own.

Great oroduct
This foam was great. It's exactly what I needed for my toolbox. I don't know what other reviewers were saying about the peeling thing but it peeled just fine for me. You can't just peel it in individual layers like pull an individual layer off completely you're only cutting a tool out and peeling that piece. Would definitely recommend.
