Purchased to keep in our emergency kit! I was very pleased with the quality! The lantern has a charge and works right out of the box! The LED light is soooo bright and also has other settings to display different strengths and colors of light to fit your needs. The battery life if great and lantern comes with charging cord. Very happy with this purchase! Great quality!

Worth the money. I was looking at lanterns for light use such as camping, power outages and the like. I wanted ones that recharge instead of devouring batteries so I gave them a shot. Been using them almost a year now and I have no complaints! Being able to charge other essential devices like phones in an emergency is nice. Dimmable white LED and soft light is a nice feature. I haven’t tested run time to give an accurate description but I’ve taken them on a 4 night camping trip and didn’t have to recharge during.

Hi. I really like this lamp but can't use it anymore because I lost the USB cable and don't know which type to get.Please help me because I really don't want to dispose of it just because I can't charge the battery. Thanks

These lanterns serve their purpose as backup lights if the power goes out. I have both the rechargeable and the D cell powered versions. One very annoying thing about them is that there is no memory function. It will not turn on to your last light setting (color and brightness), so you have to cycle through the options each time you turn it on. I don't like that it defaults to the brightest setting on the harshest color. The instruction pamphlet does mention there is no memory, but I didn't see anything about that in the product description.

This is a great little, lightweight lantern. It has a high and a low brightness setting, which came in very handy. The brightest gives very good light, but the lower setting gives sufficient warm light and conserves your battery. Though I am very glad that I bought this rechargeable light, I am even more grateful that I accidentally bought one that looks like it that uses 3 D batteries. The power button does glow red when it is low on charge, and then you are in the dark. It did give some hours of light, though I don’t know exactly how long it lasted: However, during the 126 hour power outage I just experienced, I had no way to recharge it. I immediately grabbed the ones I had bought on accident. During a normal power outage, this would be outstanding, but it fell short this time. Note, the circumstances were extreme.

We have used these a few times now for fishing at night,and they have worked perfectly.We don't leave them on constant,but they are on and off for several hours for a few minutes at a time,and haven't had any issues.They do take a little while to charge,but not a terribly long time.These are very bright on high,and still bright enough on the low setting.

I've had for 2 years but now it won't charge. I loved the multiple settings. So bummed I had to buy a new one so soon.I thought it would last longer. 😕
