This boot is very well made, comfortable, and provides good support.

Finally, a boot that fits properly at size 10 or Euro 43. I have gotten many size 9.5D that fit too tight; or 10E that fit too big; and some 10EE that fit almost perfect. This boot from Kennetrek fits like a glove, and has room for an expanding foot after many hours of wear. Very stiff and stable. Once they were broke in I will never go back to any other boot. Hiking, hunting, Harley, and work.

Stiff when new. I have two pairs. One is at kenetrek getting resoled. These are very pricey but they work.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this boot because red wing is dropping the Vasque line of boots that I have worn for years- I had seen the Kenetrek brand in a hunting boot and then this hardscrabble hiking boot. They seemed to be pretty well built and now that I’m wearing them for the first day they’re awesome! I’m a 62 year old career safety guy 6 hours in to a ten hour day with 9500 steps so far! Like my old Vasque boots- Iput them on and went…. I think they’ll last also.

If you hunt or play hard, the most terrible mistake you will make is buying cheap boots. The old saying goes, you pay for what you get is very true with footwear. Both my son and I have sent the money for a great pair of Kenetreks and have loved them. My son almost wore a pair of boots out in a year trying to find his trophy bull elk. He did end his hunt with a beautiful Utah bull elk. He was at times in the boots 20 hours.A successful hunt or play time can only be as good as your feet. I hunted in my last year and had no sore spots or problems with the boots. I highly recommend you save your money and buy the best. I also like the attitude of the company and their employees when you call for advice. They are very concerned about you ability to play hard with their products. They gave me the best advice I have had in 20 years when I set down at their booth in Salt Lake City. I feet hurt so bad in my Red Wings that my small toenail would go dead and come off. That did not happen with these boots. They fit. I purchased the light weight boots and they are great at a little over 3 lbs. Thanks guys for the great advice.

I have worked as a logger for over 35 years and have bought a lot of different brands of boots .These kenetrek boots are the most comfortable boot I've ever worn.

Normal use everyday for construction work and hiking. The rubber band on the right boots is clearly pulling away in just under 2 months. Not impressed for the price you pay. Otherwise the boots are very comfortable and broke it easy. Yes I only used their Kenetrek brand of boot wax.
