Reis Coarse Bulgur for Pilafs 2lb

Arrived with Fast shipping, and good packaging. I have tried this brand before and this is the second time I buy it because it is really good quality, delicious, nutricious, and clean bulgur ready to cook perfect bulgur pilaf!

Great flavor and easy to cook. I wish that this brand would include a number grade on th label and in the description. This seems like a number 4 or close to it.

Thank you so much for the Reis Coarse Bulgur Wheat. It came to my house very fast, and is delicious. I just soak it in boiling water for about 10 minutes, drain it, and put it in the refrigerator to put on my salads. Plain salads with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a little chicken don't have the grain you need for healthy bones (per my doctor). I am diabetic, and I put about 1/3 a cup on my salad. It makes the salad chewy, satisfying, nutty, and absolutely wonderful and healthy. In just two days, my sugar (from my diabetes) went from over 370 (dangerous) to 120 and a little lower. My daughter couldn't believe it. Eating healthy has to include your grains. I won't eat wheat spaghetti or breads or rice. If you think bulgur wheat on salads may be "yucky".....please try it. I was shocked. I was not anxious to eat it on salads, but my friends in the city do, and they're all healthy and thin. I have to lose 150 pounds, and I know it will be absolutely possible if I continue yto eat the bulgur wheat and a little chicken on my salads. Please, please, everyone...for your health, try it. I love it!

Though it's grain - probably not good for celiacs - it's a whole grain, and it's got a bit more complex of a flavor than traditional rice. It cooks in approximately the same amount of time, and provides better nutrition per serving. I love it - especially when cooked with a bay leaf, aleppo pepper, and some crushed tomatoes!

We enjoy bulgur but it's difficult to find in our local markets. I especially like this coarser texture as it cooks up a bit chewy. Just bought my second bag.

I like this coarse bulgur as it makes a tasty dish and it cooks quickly so it's great for weeknight dinners. That said it's expensive for what it is and when the bulk department comes back at the local grocery store, I'll go back to buying it there where it's way cheaper. You know, when the endless pandemic is finally over.

Great product. I’ve known and used this brand for long time. Always clean and easy to cook. I’m glad that Amazon carry it.

Packaging was opened and resealed. Bulgar was leaking out of holes. Paid for ounces that certainly were lost and question contamination of product
