This chamomile tea is of the german variety. Teapigs states they also test their products against pesticides which matters when it comes to what you put in your tea. Them giving back to local communities is also a plus. For those reasons above I went with this chamomile tea over others since the quality would be high, and they care about their product.The Teapigs chamomile tea arrived in a resealable bag that is sturdy, keeps odors out, and the freshness in. Tea arrived well packaged without any damage so the flowers remained in tact. Expiration listed showed three years from now and product was recently made.Photo shows the flower size and petals. Size of chamomile flowers vary, but most were on the larger size. No dust or broken flowers were noticed before and after brewing the tea. Nothing but full flowers and all. Whatever stems there are came attached to the flower so nothing of sort of broken stems added as fluff.Tea tasted sweet, warm and light, and a flowery aroma that comes from chamomile flowers. I tend to brew chamomile at near boiling temp and let it sit for 7 minutes. This tea came out tasting great and helped with falling sleep. Flowers were also tasty when eaten so there's a bonus.

And a requirement for clean fermentation

I love this tea. It’s really high quality with strong bergamot flavor and even little blue cornflower petals like the best Earl Grey teas. You get a huge quantity for the price too

Fresh Chamomile Tea!This is my second time ordering this tea.It is fresh and the taste is outstanding.I purchased some loose tea from the market, awaiting my arrival of my second order, it did not compare, AT all.I drink this tea at night to help me sleep and it works, Great.This tea will not disappoint.

It's pretty good and I use it to mix with other teas, usually green. Where it falls short of the 5 stars is that it also contains licorice in addition to the lemon and ginger and I am not a fan of licorice. I might buy it again, depending on my ability to find lemon-ginger tea that is just lemon ginger for a similar or better price. And speaking of price, I'd call it fair but not great. The brand of tea I usually get, which only does lemon-ginger with tulsi tea, which I don't care for, would be a bit cheaper, but compared to the premium tea brands that usually come in tins, it's the better deal.

Perfect tea for a relaxing day

I love the flavor of this tea. It’s very similar to the expensive Aveda tea they serve at hair salons. Depending on my mood I’ll steep it as-is or add some chamomile flowers to it. It’s nice both ways. I had 2 cups today and am thinking about a third….

Traditionally, EB tea is a blend of 4 teas: Assam, Ceylon, Keemun and either a Kenyan or China black. Any blend with Darjeeling is not EB. For some reason several years ago, tea companies started labeling anything and everything as EB. Even brands I purchased for a decade or more, suddenly were producing a very bland, inferior EB tea. (I have been drinking EB for over 50 yrs). I am beyond thrilled that this tea is the closest thing to real, traditional English Breakfast tea I've found in over a decade. It boasts of a blend of "Assam, Ceylon, and a lovely Rwandan" and it is excellent! If you know what authentic EB tea tastes like, you will not be disappointed.
