I have looked a long time for a SMALL filtration unit that will fit under my kitchen sink that attaches directly to the waterline and does not require the install of an additional little water faucet. This one works perfectly !!It came with EVERYTHING needed to install, including written instructions with pictures and plumber's tape. It was more difficult to determine where under my sink to install it, than it actually was to install. The considerations you have on installation is that the unit hangs from a bracket that hooks on to the top of the filter. To replace the filter, you need to swing the base slightly towards you and turn it and pull hard to separate the filter casing from the top. I didn't want to permanently install it until I knew how it worked, so I just left my unit sit upright in the cabinet resting against the drainpipes. This seems to work just fine. It doesn't move or vibrate when I turn on the water. The flow lines provided are long enough that I can pull the whole thing out of cabinet to change the filter. I may install the bracket at some later time.The other thing I was VERY concerned about was the water flow/pressure after the filter was installed. I am EXTREMELY happy with this. I do not notice any discernible change in the cold water pressure with the filter installed.I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida and our water is very hard and has a chlorine taste. In my opinion, it is totally undrinkable, so we have been spending a fortune on bottled water. My husband alone drinks about 5 bottles a day, so not only are we creating a huge amount of plastic waste, we have a pretty large water expense. I am VERY pleased with the taste of the water now that I have installed the filter. It is even better than bottled water ! I especially like that the filter for this unit lasts up to 18 months ! So, although it is a little pricey because it is not just a carbon or paper filter, it is much cheaper than buying bottled water.

Pipe sizes in the U.S. are not always the same as those in other countries.I had to hire a plumber to install a special adapter just to connect the filter.So please make sure to check the measurements of both your pipes and the filter in advance.This way, you can prepare ahead of time and get the necessary adapters.That said, I’m very happy with the filter – you can definitely taste the difference in the water.Let’s see how well it holds up in the long run.

For those having difficulty opening to replace cartridge in reusable housing (like myself)....go to harbor freight and purchase a portable table vice for 20 bucks ..you can tension mount it temporarily to your countertop and use it to open the housing with the wrench.Filter is made in China fyi.

I'm not a plumber but it was very simple to install the compression fittings tightened down well and my refrigerator ice maker has filter water and the kitchen sink has filter water. I would buy it again if I had to and the only only little small issue I had was I had trouble getting the filter back into the into the container and it took him a couple days to get back to me about what I could do but I eventually got it anyway so

They don't call FL the basement state for nothing. Very well chlorinated pipes, and this unit tool of a filter pulls out most of it. Very kind of them to include two filter changing wrenches too. And of course I toss the filter immediately after boil water notices. Longevity: 4+ years. Don't forget the bottle brush if you don't already own a bottle brush.

Easy install, water output and taste are great, filters more and lasts longer than our old filter.

MK99 - I installed this inside my camper " not difficult to do " I took some time regarding placement. I wanted it to filter the fresh water tank and city water with out having to change connections " I did figuer it out " and it is filtering all the water before it goes to the main camper system. There is a small volume reduction but that may be the supply plumbing that comes with the filter ( 1/4 ID ) or just the normal reduction of the filter media. I have not checked the taste or the life span at this time, if I could change 1 thing it would be the supply plumbing, a 3/8 ID option would not go a miss.
