The one I ordered only had 2 layers on the bust. My daughter refused to wear it so I decided to return and re-purchase. After I printed the labels, I found the first reviewer said " It has a shelf lining in the bust ", so I wrote a question (in public area) making sure what I received was indeed a defect item. The vendor replied------------------------"Dear , you just no worry for it. it;s normal, Becuase our leotards is good quality. we made it with total 3 layer on the front. and the second middle bust layer fabric is use the 4 line mechine to sew it. when you first wear it, you there will have the sound of like the line is broken, but it's total no problem with the leotards. as the is just sewing way for the second layer of the fabric. no effect the leotards at all. if you have any problem you can contact us any time, we are very good for customer service, no worry."----------------------------------I sent the picture to the vendor via "feedback", asking if I return and re-order, how do I ensure it's not defect item with 2 layers again? This and they replied----------------------------Dear Customer .I am very sorry for our product only 2 layers on the bust. You just do not need to return it to us.We will make new product with 3 layers on the bust . we will send the new product and it is free product , not pay for new one . Because Amazon automatically pick up new product to fulfill order , we are worry about you still get 2 layers product .However ,We will mamke new on with3 layers on the bust . which will take 10-15 days from china to USA .Anything let me know . we will do best support to you . Thanks a lot !-----------------------------------Since they offered free product, I clicked "Yes" -> it resolved my question. I still sent the defect back anyway as it's useless to me.I wrote a private message back last week, they didn't reply.I checked the web site again and found my question was deleted.I think they were trying to make me to keep the defect item. It's the worst customer service I have ever received.

I'm 5'3" 119 lbs and ordered Medium. When I got it out of the package it was a bit too large. I washed it in warm water and dried it in the dryer. It fit perfectly after that so i'm glad I didn't return it.It is fully lined in front. The lining is THICK. The snaps are great quality and have held up really well for me so far.I have been using this lightly for several months now and there is hardly any signs of wear.The only thing I do not like is that it's it cut pretty high in the back. You will want to wear a wrap skirt or cover up for a classical ballet class.

Very well made for the price. I am 5'8" and 160lbs, ordered XL and it fit generously with room to spare. High neckline is secure for upside-down activity and floral back allows you to wear a sports bra. The neck snaps are very secure. All in all a very flattering and modest leotard, sized far more generously than XL of most other brands. The fabric is soft and thick.

Perfect for my daughter’s dance class. They don’t have to match for class, so she loved this option to be a bit different from the plain black! My daughter is 12 and usually wears a size 14 in girls, but I ordered a woman’s extra small due to her long torso (she’s 5’2”). It fits great!

I’m 5’3” and about 125 lbs (flat chest and big butt) and the medium fit me.Generally quality is fair, but it I wish the fabric was a stretchier and more form fitting. It kind of has a lining but it’s thin and you can see where it was sewn in around the bust when you’re wearing it.My biggest problem is the snap on the neck. Instead of it being on the back of your neck, it’s on the side, so the spot where the snap is and the fabric overlays is really obvious and bulky. Probably wouldn’t be quite as noticeable if it was in the back.Has a good amount of coverage on the butt and I like the mesh.

I just purchased this leotard for my 13 year old for ballet. Material is very soft and lace seems durable and not itchy. The seam is a little snug on the bottom but there is still much room, maybe you need to stretch it out a bit? I purchased the small and she is 5’2 and a little over 100 lbs. Beware if you have a larger neck because the leotard has a snap attachment on the neck and its fine formy daughter who has an average sized neck but might not be the best style for a person with a larger neck. She still has much room to grow into it but it is not saggy. Just right. Highly recommend.

I am an adult ballerina and I ordered this in an XL as I'm 5'3" 137 lbs and am a 36 C. I was debating between the large and XL and a L would have worked perfectly but the XL still fits and gives me some extra room. This is a beautiful, very sturdy leotard and I would recommend this item! I purchased the black floral lace style and I get lots of compliments on it in the studio. It's very comfortable as well. It has a shelf lining in the bust which I appreciate and the clasps around the neck to fasten it are very sturdy. I love it!! I will probably buy it in the other style!

Now that I've had this leotard for a while and have used it a fair amount I feel confident enough to review it. It's nice quality! The floral mesh on the back is relatively sturdy as well and I've had no issues with it. The halter top has snaps at the neck to connect and doesn't feel too tight or strained at all. I was surprised at the quality for the price I paid. Note that this felt more cottony than spandex-y, but it was still pretty stretchy.
