These are individually very bright. Not likely dimmable, but in a garage or workspace, you aren't looking for that. I had considered building my own, but at this price, it would cost the same as buying the led strip, housing and connectors. It would be nice if they sold a longer interconnect piece (wire). the interconnect to connect two to one power source is now a 1" plug which fits into each. They provide you with hard wire, switch/receptacle wire, interconnect, mounts and screws. Everything you need and there are two sets of these. To daisy chain these, you could use the second hard wire and solder the interconnect plug to the stripped wire end, but that's a bit troublesome and may be hard to solder inside the connector. Someone above wrote that you can crimp the hardwire plug to the 1" connector plug - haven't tried that. It's not a long wire and adding wire just adds to the huh factor of why they didn't increase the price by 50 cents and add a completed daisy chain wire. As said above, it would be nicer if they handled this better, but... All in all a very good product for a good price.

I installed these in a small, enclosed utility trailer with a set of 12v lights so that one set could run off the battery when traveling and the other from AC when parked in the driveway. Both provided bright and white light making it possible to find everything in the trailer until someone stole it. I hope they enjoy the lights and my ingenuity to provide both power options.

The light is bright, quick to start, and a great value for the money! I bought 2 sets and mounted them in my garage workshop using some adhesive magnets. So far so good!If you intend to daisy chain them, you’ll find you have to strip and crimp the 3 prong attachment yourself to the included wire. This is visible on the product pictures but I found actually crimping this to be a hassle (and I had to throw away one of the heads from splitting the plastic). I think this could have been handled better, and that is my only complaint about the product

Bought 2 sets in 2018 (still going strong). Bought 2 more sets few months ago when we moved in a bigger house. Its very easy to install, illuminates the room pretty well and I love it because I prefer white light over dim yellow light.Can't think of a downside but when installing you might feel 6Ft Cable is not sufficient. Doesn't bother me now though :)

they are more expensive compared to the 4ft lights, but they output the same as a 4ft light. i needed something small for my sand blast cabinet. i wanted a bright clean light so i can see the rust. on hindsight i should have went with 5000k, i think its less blue and looks nicer. but in the cabinet it works well. i sealed everything with tape first to keep the grit out. i'm hoping it will survive in there.i put the other one over my router area, and its amazing how bright it is.however... like most of these lights, it kills FM signals, haven't tried it with wifi yet. they make special shielded versions of these lights. if you want clear FM, make sure the FM static block something is installed.

These lights met my expectations and were exactly as described. Very easy to install and bright enough for the use I purchased them for. I will be ordering another set to replace some older lights I have.

Used in my garage for a work bench. Super briight and has a convenient on/off switch. Plus can add lights as you wish. Great value.

I needed more light on a couple of work benches in my workshop to overcome the shadows cast by the overhead lights. These are perfect for that. I mounted them to the upper window trim and they illuminate the two benches in bright light (and eliminate the shadows). Highly recommended.
