WARN99897 Lighted Dash Rocker Switch Kit , Black

Genuine Warn product. But check your plug. This unit is a round 3 wire set up. It did not fit my RC 9.0 which uses a D plug with 5 wires. I was able to control my winch with a relay but only ended up being able to use the dash switch and ditching the whole harness this unit came with. So be warned, check your winch controllers plug before purchasing, or like me end up with an expensive switch and a lot of wiring to figure out. FYI this unit is assembled very nicely, found this out while cutting it all apart.

Instructions could have been a little clearer. I got it connected but had problems.

Have a 2020 Honda Pioneer 1000 with a deer installed Warne winch. Came with a remote switch and port in the glove box. Using the remote switch to plow was a pain and I wondered why a dash rocker switch wasn’t originally installed from the dealership, as most Warne Winches come with a remote and dash switch. Did some research and Honda has Warne build a “Honda/Warne VR45” winch for them that does not include a a dash switch. Talking with the dealer they said Honda recommends a wiring harness through them, “of course they do” this harness costs around 299.00. I bought this Warne wiring harness from Warne and replaced the one that was originally installed. Super simple. Wiring schematic is super easy to understand. Wires were terminated on the Warne Control panel that was initially installed. Dash rocker switch was able to be mounted to my dash without having to install a rocker switch panel.

Easy to install, a little pricey but usually you get what you pay for.
