Warm Place in My Heart, A Paperback – Illustrated, July 7, 2007

Heather Cardin's gift for facilitating expression of a variety of viewpoints is evident in her latest book, A Warm Place in My Heart. She has collected the stories of young Baha'i adults from diverse world backgrounds. Neither editing out negatives nor unduly featuring positives, she presents them honestly.This is a book to share. A poem about approaching death penned by one of these young writers was worthy of sharing with my sister in the final days of her life. The book, itself, cried out to be shared with my son, who is in the age range of the writers Cardin has collected.Obviously, since this book is an assortment of many people's voices, the reader can read the pieces in any order without losing anything. Some of them will give those Baha'is who work with young people food for thought. Others will give them the warm feeling indicated in the book's title.
