Great cleaner and polisher for heavily oxidized piece
As a deep cleaner and polisher for a large 50 year old brass handle, it worked absolutely great. This handle not only had 50 years of dirt and oxidation, but also had paint, stain, and varnish all over it bc the previous owner didn’t bother to remove the piece from the door whenever they did anything to the door. This handle has easy to remove screws too, so there was no excuse. It is very ornate too with a lot of crevices so it was everywhere. Worked like a charm, easy to use, worked relatively quickly. Use a toothbrush for best results as ornate pieces won’t be helped by a cloth unless it’s flat. The varnish was the most difficult thing to remove, in some spots I had to let it sit for 10 minutes in a second application, but it all came off! BTW, if you just have a bit of dirt and oxidation, this may be overkill as it is strong (it has ammonia in it) but for tough jobs like the one I had, it’s great. (A polish alone without ammonia would be better for much easier jobs and for maintenance.)

Removes black tarnish from costume jewelry
Easy to use. I thought nothing could save my disgusting tarnished costume jewelry. This was my hail Mary and she delivered. I covered my counter w/ plastic wrap and applied using a toothbrush, wiped off excess and rinsed while brushing. It turns green when the tarnish reverse oxidizes. Use gloves and a mask. It has ammonia in it. Best on alloys with brass or copper. Turned my black necklaces into a rosegold color.

Works!
I knew the base on my MCM lamp was tarnished, but not sure what the material was. I took a chance with Brasso, and it made it look so much better. It didn't completely remove all of the spots, but I was hesitant to rub too hard. I might try again just to see if I can get it even cleaner, but I'm already pleased. It looks so much better.

nice
We bought a second-hand piano, the seller's dog peed on the pedal , I bought this rust remover, the effect is still good, just have to wipe many times. There are two more places that I really can't erase, and I'll try a few more times to see if I can wipe them off

Brass brass cleaner
This brass produc cleaner has been around for a very long time. We use it to cleaner all our brass pieces. It came very quickly, is easy to use, and is cost effective. It is also hard to find in regular stores so Amazon is a great way to get it. Thank you.

I did not know these were golden...
So I firmly believe a picture is worth more than a thousand words. I did not even consider that these were golden. Now, it did take multiple runs and cleaning with a gentle brush, but for the job, it did amazingly. I also suggest using it outdoors or at least have a window open because it contains ammonia, so the smell is dangerous. Use gloves, and be careful with the surface it falls on. Other than that, it is an amazing product which performed amazingly.

Works like magic
It works fantastic for cleaning purse hardware. It’s great and has lasted a long time since it’s a huge bottle, a little goes a long way. Easy to follow instructions. Only complaint is that it stinks. I can’t stand the smell but it does work it’s very impressive

Better than expected! Keep reading
Decided to give this product a shot as well as the rest of world seems to like it. Now, it does work... but here's the caveat. I've been spoiled by superior products on the market that work, in all honesty... four to five times better. On certain metals, there's only so much cleaning and/or polishing this product can afford you. What I mean by that is there are products that are good at removing varnish and discoloration from metals and some products are better on different metals. There are also products that afford that same level of performance removing tarnish (chemical cleaning) plus a polishing compound to really get after those severely oxidized layers and even the ability to remove ultra fine scratches that appear as hazing or dull finishes. This is not one of those products, and has no "cut" but in a lot of cases, that isn't necessary. Finishes that don't see a lot of physical contact and abrasion rarely need that added benefit. However, the ones that do, will need a more aggressive product to bring back that sheen. light to mild patina is where this Brasso product really shines. **Side Note** As with all aggressive chemical cleaners, make sure you use this in a well ventilated area. If that isn't an option, use a good respirator rated for spray painting and airborne chemicals, to keep your head clear and off the deck! One can't enjoy one's cleaned metals if one can't see straight or laid up in the ER from chemical overexposure. I mean that! Some of these products are stronger than you'd expect. Even if you can't smell them. Those are the worse ones. Protect yourself! Someone needs you.
