This off-set RIDGID aluminum wrench is an absolute necessity for a plumbing contractor. This is the second wrench of this type I have purchased as I wore the last wrench out over 20 years of use. I kiss this wrench every day. If you're a plumbing contractor consider how many times a day you pick-up your tool box with several of these different size wrenches. If they were caste iron instead of aluminum do you know how much more your tool box would weigh? The off-set wrench allows you to get into places a straight wrench could not. BUY IT DON"T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.

this is the standard for many years and it still is due to the fact that they grab on really good. I'm a journeyman and use them every day on the job site. Never go wrong with these. The price is worth it because you get what you pay for. I tried buying some Cheapo knock off here on Amazon and believe me they do not compare not one bit.

quality, the reason bought over other brands - knew it would be first rate and not be sorry over anything, except maybe pain in my wallet.

As a homeowner, buying such an expensive pipe wrench felt like a bit of a luxury purchase, but I borrowed this wrench from a professional plumber and can't imagine going back to heavier cast iron pipe wrenches. The plumber told me the offset jaw was originally designed for outdoor underground sprinkler work-- not sure if that's true, but the offset jaw REALLY helps when working down in a hole on sprinkler fittings. Great tool... go ahead, you deserve it.

There is no substitute for a RIDGID pipe wrench. The 14” offset is my most used wrench daily.

I work as a plumber, and need a way to get to pipes in very narrow spaces occasionally. This wrench will grip from straight on and allows you to work in some places where it would otherwise be impossible. I bought it as a replacement for a steel version of the same wrench that had worn out after several years of hard service. The aluminum reduces the weight enough that overhead work is a ton easier. Love it!!!

LOVE IT, I’ve had this pipe wrench for a few months now, if you have any other rigid pipe wrenches you know the quality is great, I would recommend this offset tool any day, it’s versatility is great and definitely a tool you need in your tool box if you work on piping often
