Here for sale is 1 fresh cuttings of the vanilla orchid (Vanilla planifolia). This is the species of vanilla that produces vanilla beans. These are easy to grow from cuttings. Simply lay the cutting on its side in a shady area and lightly cover in potting mix and they start rooting in a couple weeks. The vanilla orchid grows on a long vine and produces fragrant flowers which will turn into vanilla beans if pollinated. It needs a tropical climate but it can be grown in a pot as a houseplant in climates with cold winters. The cutting you are buying will look similar to the one in the first picture. They are at least 6 inches in length and have 2 nodes each. Thanks!
