These inserts are saving my feet! I am a full figured lady, pushing close to 300 pounds, and I am in need of really good support. I stand all day at work (I work in a hospital so I'm basically standing on concrete) and I really don't sit down. I wear New Balance for shoes; took out their insert, put these in and added a thick rubber insert on top and I am good to pound pavement all day! You definitely need a thick rubber insole to top it off if you want comfort, I don't think anyone could wear these alone as they are very hard almost like plastic but that's part of why they work so well! They don't lose their support! I will agree with other readers that this insert combined with a thick rubber insert will make less room in your shoes so make sure you have good depth in the ones you plan on using as well as making sure you can remove the factory insert (some stitch them or glue them in). The springs definitely reduce the shock of impact on your feet. I will use these inserts for life as long as they keep making them, I'm sure after some time you will need to purchase another pair but these have been going strong with no signs of wear for over a month now. I have seen a podiatrist and I have been told I have falling arches as well as over pronating. He told me orthotics aren't covered by most insurances and that they would be expensive so that wasn't an option for me financially. I'm one of those people that will spend hours reading reviews and doing research on products because "I work hard for my money!" Hope this review helps and best of luck!

this feel like i would imagine walking on clouds feel! i helped my husband do some yard work and yay lucky me we only have a push mower so i figured my feet would soar at the end but nope i could have mowed the neighbors lawn and would have been fine! my feet didn't feel tired at all and my back doesn't hurt because of the cushion and spring loading on the heel helping support my back allowing me to have better posture, this is a product that i will definitely recommend to my friends and family specially those who work on their feet all day :-)

This is by far the best product I have purchased for my plantar faciitis an heel spurs.. i have placed these in my work shoes and immediately notice a remarkable difference in the way my legs and feet felt at the end of my work day. I am a city mail carrier and many over the counter inserts have failed me or made my symptoms worse...I have recommended these to my friends and I am recommending you give them a try....I doubt you will be disappointed!!!!!!

I love these. I have a heel spur and walking with these has helped tremendously. Had to trim the toe to fit my shoe, but that was to be expected. I use to have a lot of pain when I walked. The spring like soles cushions my feet. Would highly recommend for someone with foot pain.

I can see that these would be very nice for anyone needing good support or comfort for those long days on your feet. They run quite big. I bought a medium, women's size 8, and had to cut approximately 1 1/2" off. I have plantar fasciitis, extreme pain, chronic (every blessed day since July 2014) and I have these in a pair of shoes I will wear on weekend around the house. I am not sure they will be the answer long term but they do feel quite nice at this time!

Needs to be less stiff. Possible to use polyurethane base with same springs. So stiff it gave me a backache. Great idea, would be great for tennis players is a more flexible base.
