It is gorgeous! The wood has a lot of character - even from far away, you can see the different colors. The polish shines even inside the box, much less worn in the sun.The bracelet is about 6 cm in diameter and most of the small beads are about 5 mm in diameter but others are about 3 mm. The tassel is almost 4 cm long, but lays flat so far, so I don't mind it.The quality is better than I expected: the polish is glossy, the wood has character and is smooth, the elastic is very stiff, and the tassel is cut evenly.I hope to enjoy it for years to come.

very nice. I bought a similar set when I visited Kyoto a few years ago. The polished wood beads have a feeling of character with elegance and simplicity, and very comfortable to wear in office environment as well as casual settings. This set is beautiful with a slightly stronger wood tone and very nice color composition.

I have small hands (ring size 5), yet the bracelet is very tight over both hands in Gassho, so as to be cumbersome at the temple. I am hoping the elastic string will hold up. Also, when I purchased it at the Amazon size, it said it was made in Kyoto, Japan, yet there is no manufacturer identification on the box it came in to verify this. I just find it a bit questionable.

I bought this bracelet to count mantras during my meditations about 2 weeks ago, and love it so much that I've been wearing it all day ever since. I love the way it looks- the wood is dark and polished, and the tassel looks nice (I usually don't like tassels, but this one is small and understated, and complements the bracelet well). The band is elastic, comes on and off easily, and seems pretty sturdy. My wrist is 6.5 inches in circumference, and the bracelet fits me perfectly- it looks to me like the tassel is actually the end of the elastic band, so if you have a larger wrist, I think you'd probably be able to loosen the knot and adjust its size, although I haven't tried it. I like the bracelet so much that I'm planning to buy one or two more- that way I'll have a couple backups in case anything happens to one of them, and I could also wear them on both wrists if I felt like it. Highly recommended!

It’s been 5 months. They have been washed on accident several times. This has not changed the integrity of the bracelet- not one bit. They also have this amazing smell, and after being washed several times on accident, the smell is still there. My wife loved her gift.

Nice quality !It need a least 3 more beans for me to fit well my wristI undo the knot to make it less tight but i was not able to redo the original knot..should come with 2-3 extra beans and how to do the original knot
