Bought this press to take on the road with us instead of our larger swing arm press. It is definitely small and fairly light and easy to transport. As it is furnished, it does not have any real adjustability for the height of the workpiece. As long as you are doing relatively flat items, as this was originally designed for, it works fine. We have a variety of items we wanted to be able to press, though, so my wife removed the lower portion from the base and removed the springs and then she just shims the lower portion up or down depending on the thickness of the workpiece.Comes with very poorly written instructions, but it isn't too hard to figure out. Only thing that doesn't make sense is that it is supposed to be in degrees C, and it goes up to about 400 degrees C, which is 750 degrees F. We tried setting it to 204 degrees C, which is 400 degrees F, but it clearly was not hot enough and didn't transfer the dye. We experimented with it and found that we had to set it to 400 degrees C in order to get it to work on things designed for 400 F. It takes slightly less time than the swing arm at 400 degrees F, so it seems it is a little hotter than 400 F, but there is no way it is 750 degrees F. It would scorch and burn the workpiece if it was. But like anything like this, there is just some experimentation that you need to go through to figure out how to make it work for what you want it to do. All in all, I am happy with it and it will work for what I wanted to do with it.

Great little heat press! It's perfect for my cheer bow business. Small enough to haul along to competitions, heats fast and has been dependable so far! I purchased it in February and it's gotten quite a bit of use. Took off one star because the button for the timer fell off the first week I had it. Doesn't affect the performance though. Easy to set the temp, and seems to heat consistently.

Very uneven heating and unable to transfer.

This is the new addition to my PCB prototype fab at home. A whole lot better for doing the toner transfers to the copper clad boards. Now I can control the temperature and the time the paper is heated. Especially easy for doable sided boards since both sides get heated at the same time. All that is required is flipping over to apply direct heat to the second side.

I would suggest this product for anyone who needs one. Instructions were great and to the point. Craftmanship and materials used are superb.
