OUIDAD Curl Recovery Melt Down Extreme Repair Mask, 2 Fl oz

This is one of the best deep conditioners I’ve ever used! I use it as an elasticity treatment, meaning it moisturizes and strengthens my hair so that it remains balanced. I don’t get alot of the warming sensation that the product is supposed to give you. I apply it in sections onto clean towel-dried hair and then detangle with a wet comb from Sally’s. By the time I finish detangling it’s time to rinse the treatment out. I then follow with my regular styling products and routine. I don’t use any heat wirh it and I don’t leave it longer than the 15 minutes they recommend in the directions. My hair stays moisturized and strong for the whole week. I repeat the process about every 7 days and my hair is healthier and more manageable than it’s been in a long time. I get about 4-5 uses out of the 2 oz jar, but my hair is very fine and thin and it’s only about shoulder length after a recent hair cut. Oh, it smells great too! It’s a clean salon product smell.

I have curly hair type 3B, and I wash/dry/straighten weekly. I also dye my hair with everything from Pravana to Arctic Fox about 3-4 times a year. A friend who used to be a colorist recommended this Ouidad mask to me and WOW. I have never, not in 36 years, used a conditioner that literally transformed my hair into just-left-the-dang-SALON hair. My ends are no longer poofy and difficult to straighten. My lengths can be PIN STRAIGHT with just 400 degrees on my HSI iron. I can't believe this is real. And now it's MY HAIR that feels like silky magic. This stuff left it richly moisturized, ditched frizz, mended split ends, and my hair is SO GLOSSY but not in an overly oily product way, it is luminous from within! Hands down the best hair product I've EVER bought.

My hair is heated damaged. I searched for curl recovery products to make sure the healthy part of my hair remains healthy until I'm ready to cut the heat damaged ends and OMGosh it was the most amazing product. I immediately bought the larger size and I continue using it and my curls are better than ever. Even the heat damaged ends have a slight wave to them now.

Perfect, this products had my hair feeling strong and soft. It is immediately stopped my shedding after washing it and I barely had hair left on the comb after finishing combing my hair.

This stuff is great! I have natural auburn/strawberry blonde hair that is frizzy, wavy/curly and very coarse. This makes a noticeable difference in the amount of frizz and softens the texture very well. It feels nice as it warms up a little bit too. I also use the Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity extra strength gel. These 2 products together have worked very well to help with curl definition, cut way down on frizz, and give moisture to my frizzy, disobedient curls. Want to try more from this brand for sure. Definitely recommend!

I have naturally curly frizzy hair. So therefor it dries out and worsens with any treatment. So being in my early 50’s means the hair gets dyed about every 2-3 months. So, it was getting so dry and out of control I couldn’t deal with it. After treatment with this Cury Recovery Mask, it’s so much softer, and the frizz was reduced exponentially. I’m going to use it again with my next wash. I’ve only used it once and my hair is so much better. I wish I’d taken before and after photos. Try it. You won’t be sorry.

For the price of this stuff, I didn't notice that it was any better than some of the cheaper hair masks I use. I wouldn't purchase it again...not because its not a nice mask...it is....just because its wayyyy too expensive for what it is.

This is incredibly hydratingIt definitely started burning the back of my scalp but I expected that after browsing the reviews. I left the product on my hair for the prescribed time and the results were great! I’d recommend even after dealing with the burning sensation. There was no damage to my scalp and the burning ended when I finally rinsed all the product from my scalp/hair.
