I have been searching for a sturdy, perfect-sized gym bag for awhile now but most of what's available online and through retail are way bigger than what I really need. Even the x-small size of the famous brands are at least 17" and would collapse or look collapsed once set down on the ground or a flat surface. I was so glad to come across this Western Pack 15" mini duffel. Hopefully, I can give the prospective buyer a simpler and better picture of it's dimensions. It arrived folded flat, but once I've straightened/stood it up, it stayed up. I've attached images to better show how much one can fit inside it's main compartment. I can fit 8 water bottles inside side by side standing up (10 in a pinch). The height clears the top of the bottle cap, so the zipper can be closed without any problems. I don't usually bring extra pair of shoes or bath towel to the gym, but what I do take with me, fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare. For reference, I was able to lay my size 10.5 shoes (placed like it would be in a shoe box) and still have plenty of space for 3 water bottles, an extra change of shirt, socks, and a hand towel/wash cloth. The material appears well made, and I haven't really experienced the problem with the zipper catching while closing it. A careful tug around the curved areas prevented this. Three additional zippered pockets (one at each end and one in the front) ensure that I have a separate place to put my wallet, smart phone, headphones, keys, some change, etc. If there's one thing that the manufacturer can improve on is to add one or two extra zippered pockets inside the main compartment; otherwise, I am very pleased with this mini duffel. If you're looking for something that would hold an extra pair of shoes, extra change of clothes, a set of bath towels, this is not the bag for you. If you're looking for a duffel that can hold your essentials then I highly recommend the WP Pony Series 15". I love this bag.

BEST gym bag ever. I hate overly large gym bags. This one is perfect for my Crossfit sessions. I have my olys in the main compartment and a pair of socks (easily fit more - like a belt and/or water bottles), all of my wraps and hand protection in a side pocket, my jump rope in the other side pocket, and my keys and phone in the small front pocket.

It's a sweet little bag if you're looking for something about the size of a mid-sized purse! It's NOT 15" long. We had to tug at it really hard to stretch it out all the way, and then it was barely 13" - but it sure didn't stay that long when we let go. It does list 13" as one of the dimensions in the product description, but why does it say 15" in the product name??That said, it was very well constructed and substantial. I returned it (no problem), and got the Western Pack 2000 Series 18" Duffel Bag, which is slightly different in styling, but is still a very well made, sturdy duffle. It's a little larger than i wanted, but at least it will hold more than a pair of shoes!

I love this bag!!! It's perfect for the gym. It fits my swimming stuff (suit, cap, goggles), exercise clothes, clean clothes, and large towel in the main compartment, and all my travel size shower stuff in the one end compartment easily. It feels very high quality and all the zippers move free & easy. I've had the bag for quite some time now and it's held up perfectly with no signs of wear & tear whatsoever. It's just the right size to hang in my gym locker but still fits all my stuff - not too big, not too small. I leave it open between gym visits and it dries out well with no odor. I initially bought it as a carry-on for airline travel; I ended up not getting to use it for that yet, but it would definitely be great for that as well. Overall a very good product. Would recommend!!

I am lucky enough to be able to swim at lunch, and this bag was the perfect size.I tried the next size smaller and it was more like a purse, not to good if your a straight guy.Anyway I carry my trunks, some large hand paddles, misc gear and toiletries easily.This is a great bag for the city as well, on the subway its easy to move around and doesn't keep banging into people.Also well constructed, heavy duty, more so than most other bags I've owned.The strap is narrow and stays on my shoulder, which I only do when I need to. If you wear a dry cleaned shirt this is a much better alternative to a back pack, especially on hot days.

I bought this as a small gig bag and it holds everything I need. For me this is:<ul><li>a couple of instrument cables</li><li>footswitch</ul><li>15-ft XLR cable</li><li>LED flashlight</li><li>a roll of gaffer's tape</li><li>various adapters</li><li>spare power cable</li><li>a couple of mics</li><li>8-ft extension cord</li><li>picks</li></ul>Everything fits snugly but comfortably, and because the bag does not have much more room, it prevents me from bringing a lot of non-essential stuff.

The only thing this little bag has going for it is the size, which would be perfect for just a few gym necessities.... unfortunately, it has a zipper that somehow is sewn within an over-lap of material so that it gets jammed and stuck when you try to zip or unzip it. My friend and i both purchased the same bag for our husbands and both bags had the same manufacturing flaw, so obviously, this is the design.Save yourself the annoyance and go with another bag....

I had been looking for the perfect travel bag to hold travel essentials, e.g. glasses, travel documents, snacks, rain jacket, phone and charger, inflatable pillow. This is a perfect bag for travel essentials. It is large enough to hold what you need on a plane and in airports, but small enough to be easy to carry around and stuff under an airline seat. It is very well constructed, zippers are heavy duty and work well. A really great value. The only con is that it could use a few inside pockets for cash, pen, etc.
