Are the bristles soft?

There kind of soft. More like a boar bristle brush. Just depends on the tenderness of your head. It brushes beautifully! I love mine! Then again my head isn''t tender. Hope I helped. Good luck!

Has this brush been redesigned? It’s advertised as natural bristles here, but what arrived was nylon plastic feeling and frankly is painful on skin

Used dirty brush

I was looking forward to getting this brush but when I opened the packaging the brush was clearly used. There was hair on the bristles and buildup from the previous user. Disgusting.
