Medicine Safe-Standard Key, White 38 Inch

Sadly I had to invest in this after my child attempted suicide. This box was a lifesaver after that, literally. I purchased another to put even our Tylenol in one. The only downfall is the screws on the door handle keep falling out. It doesn't stop the box from locking/unlocking, it just makes it sightly that I had to tape the handle together. I got the barrel style key thinking it would be harder if not impossible to try to penitrate. So far it is holding up well with the exception of the taped together handle.

Works wonderfully. We have several controlled medications and children in the house, and this lock box is indestructible. I threw it on concrete, pried on the latch with a hammer, and tried as hard as I could to break in, and couldn't.THIS BEING SAID, the SIDES of the lock box are vulnerable to a power tool such as a dremel. The front is pretty much solid steel, but the sides could be easily cut open. Since it's not an issue with our children, we gave it 5 stars anyways. It would be great if the manufacturer were to add steel plates to the sides.NOTE: The door is very heavy when opened. If you do not have it mounted to something, the entire lockbox will fall over as the center of gravity shifts with the door.

Okay, easy to open. Secure and a nice size. Worth the buy if you need to safely store medications, fits multiple large bottles

I really like this safe. It is a great size and fits almost anywhere for that reason. It also comes with mounding hardware if that is something that is important to you (it wasn't to me but I can understand that it would be for many people). It is fairly sturdy, although it is plastic so I imagine that someone intent on getting into it could eventually. The reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that there is a strange issue with storing large bottles inside (such as a 30 dram or larger bottle... think 90+ 800mg Ibuprofen tablets). The locking mechanism is located on the door of the safe and if you try to store large bottles where the locking mechanism is housed, the door will not fully close and the safe will not lock. We only have one or two larger bottles on occasion, but I believe this might be a serious problem for someone who only gets medicine in large bottles. Other than that, I think it is a great product.

The box seems to be well constructed and easy to use. We'll see if the locking mechanism holds up.

Nice little medicine lock box. Comes with 2 keys and some mounting tape.I chose to mount mine to a wall inside the towel closet. Doesn't hold too much but I think it held 6 or 7 small medicine bottles. I turned 1 upright the next upside down and so on as this made for a better fit because of the lids being bigger around than the bottle.

But fine for keeping medication safe from young children

A very compact yet sturdy case to store your medications and keep them from small children. I mounted mine inside a locking cabinet so I can store certain medications that require extra security.

Lockable, but back is plastic. Just to make sure kids aren’t looking for candy and find my medicine.

Shipped on time. Was expecting to send it back due to negative reviews on here. Worked fine first time no static. Just rock n roll. Sounds better than the tape adapter. its cylinder shape and size make it really easy to store in your turd purse, and it has a delightfully charming British accent. I thought it was saying waiting for Perry. Truly a guffaw ruckus.

We need to be able to lock up out medications when our foster grandchildren come over, this is the perfect solution.

The item itself was perfect. The downside is that there were no screws to install it. I had to purchase separate screws in bulk. Now I have all these extra screws and nothing to do with them.The included sticky tape would be good if I installed it in a drawer but I just needed to place it on the wall and the tape wouldn't hold it there.

LOVE it. I now can travel and leave stuff I need kept safe. It also fits in our bar fridge.
