Great silicone mold!
I use these silicone ice molds to make soaps. I bought this not out of personal interest but because a lot of my customers are big fans of Dr. Who so my review is based solely on the actual mold and nothing about Dr. Who, lol!The mold arrived quickly and in great packaging. Not only was it packaged well inside the Amazon box but the packaging of the mold itself was high quality. So many of these molds I get are packaged in flimsy paper boxes or simply stapled to some sort of paper label (hate that!) but this arrived in a nice thick box that was adorned with Dr. Who type things. Would be great for a gift. The mold itself is extremely sturdy for silicone and doesn't have a weird smell which is nice. The molds itself are nice and deep which is such a relief for a soap maker like me, so many of these end up being very shallow because they are used for ice and chocolate molds, obviously as intended. They are big molds so I'm assuming if you use them for ice you would only get one or two in a cup/glass depending on the size of your glassware.Washes easy and has held up through a few soap processes and washes without fault. Would highly recommend this mold.

Works Beautifully For Chocolate But Hard to Remove
I got this to make chocolate cupcake toppers and they turned out perfectly. It took about 2 cups of chocolate chips to fill the entire mold. I used a spoon to fill the mold with the melted chocolate and to help push chocolate into the tiny crevices. I used the back of a knife to swipe across the top of the mold in order to smooth the chocolate and remove the excess. Then, I took the mold and gently shook and dropped it from about 1/2 inch above the table to remove air bubbles before throwing in the fridge. It took only minutes in the fridge for them to firm up completely. The final result was perfectly formed chocolates that stood at approximately two inches each. The only reason I removed a star is because the silicone is a bit stiff making it difficult to remove the final product from the mold without a fair bit of force. So, make sure you keep the chocolate really cold so that when you're having to force them out you're not melting them in your hand and leaving fingerprints. Overall a good purchase that I'd make again.

Delightful
I don't usual review things on Amazon because most of the things on here already have sufficient feedback, but I wanted to give these Dr. Who Ice Trays/Chocolate Molds a glowing review to let you know how easy and fun they are. I stumbled across these ice trays/chocolate molds right before Christmas. I had plans to make chocolate Tardises/Daleks for my favorite Whovians for the holidays, and I ordered the molds as an experiment. I did a little research on the trays to see how well they worked and didn't find a lot of information, so I was trying not to get my hopes up very high. They arrived promptly, shipped to my office, and I wanted to use them right away. At lunchtime I raided the office candy bowls for all of the chocolate in the building and melted it down and filled the trays. After letting the chocolate harden, I pushed the molds inside out and to my great delight I had 3 perfectly formed tiny Daleks and 3 tiny Tardises staring me in the face. Success! In the next few weeks I made a few batches for my favorite Who fans, and got looks of sheer joy came across each and every one of their faces when they opened their candy boxes. If you are thinking about ordering these molds and wondering if they are actually going to work - DO IT! Lots of fun and really easy to use.

This made a 9-year-old very happy
Bought this mold to make chocolates for my niece's 10th birthday party, which isn't till next month, but who could possibly wait to try these out?A lot of people seem to complain about it being too flimsy, but I don't have that issue at all. You just need to hold the bottom of it when you place it in the freezer to make ice.ICE: They are difficult to get out, but with a little determination you can get them out. I think the dalek shape turns out MUCH better than the Tardis, but they're both really cute. Plus, huge chunks of ice. What's not to like?CHOCOLATE: I really needed this mold to create yummy chocolate treats for my niece's Whovian party next month. The daleks look so beautiful, but again, the tardis doesn't really seem to be all that awesome. However, it does look better in chocolate than ice. So much easier to get chocolate out of the mold, too. I had no issue.JELLO: I have yet to make them as jello jigglers yet. I'll let you know. All in all, great product at a nice price. Perfect for Whovians.

Perfect model for ice cubes & chocolate.
I ordered it to make chocolate molds for cupcakes. Easy to use. No prep work was necessary for the mold other than washing it and drying it thoroughly before putting the melted chocolate in it.The silicon is very detailed and all the details come out in the chocolate. I got a lot of compliments on it. I was hesitant at first to really pull the chocolate and silicon apart since I've had some silicon molds tear or lost their shape. This is very sturdy and I didn't need tow worry about tearing or losing shape. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was for the depth of the mold. For ice cubes, the depth is great, makes a nice large ice cube. For chocolate it's a much. It makes a huge block of chocolate which looks amazing to any chocoholic but after 3 bites you're probably done. For a chocolate mold it might be best to not make them as full or perhaps use a filling. A filling would make it even more awesome.
