I actually really like the scent of Carroten—it has a tropical, beachy smell that reminds me of tanning lotions, but in a good way. I was initially worried it might have a plasticky chemical scent like someone else mentioned, and I knew what they meant when I first peeled the seal off, but it does not smell like that on.One of the biggest pros for me was how moisturizing it was. My skin tends to be naturally dry, and this product kept it feeling soft and hydrated. I reapplied it about three times throughout the day and used around five teaspoons in total.I spent about four hours outside by the pool, moving between sun and shade, and I did end up getting sunburned. The packaging does note that it doesn't contain SPF, so that’s something to keep in mind. As for whether it made me more tan, it’s hard to say—I might have tanned the same without it—but I did like the texture. The butter gel consistency is a nice middle ground between a lotion and an oil. Lotions usually absorb too quickly for my liking, and oils can be too messy. This was just right.One downside is that it did transfer onto the resort towels and my cover-up. I’m not sure yet if it will stain, but I’m hoping it washes out. Still, that’s not a huge deal to me.Overall, I enjoyed using it and would likely use it again—just with a separate sunscreen for protection.

Works so well! The tans still a work in progress but it has done real good on me. Please, please, PLEASE WEAR SPF BEFORE APPLYING! Even if you think you won’t need it, please do. The bottle says it has no SPF so keep yourself safe, as well as your skin. Happy tanning! 🧡Don’t apply to your face if you have acne prone skin or oily skin, it won’t feel nice. Other than that, it feels wonderful on the body.

I purchased this product because as I get older it seems it takes longer for my skin to tan. Based on reviews I thought I would try it.I am in the sun a lot in the spring and summer and it seems that my skin would rather burn than tan. (I hate sunburns)After the first use I was hooked. It has a beautiful shimmer to it when applied and helps me to obtain a deep dark tan.This product does not contain sunscreen so I highly recommend you apply a sunscreen first.

It works pretty good, however I could deal without the awful smell. It does fade after about 30 minutes but it isn’t pleasant at all. I’ve only used it a few times due to the smell. If it didn’t smell I’d probably use it more often.

10/10 would recommend to everyone. Just lather a little bit all over your body for a perfect summer glow after just a short time in the sun! Smells good, tan lasts long after summer ends. Not too greasy.

I’m gonna try it out today and see how it works BUT $31+ for a not full to the brim container is a little nutty. Especially considering idk how many uses this will get me through bc im 6’ and there’s a lot of me to cover…. But I will give it a shot and report back. Maybe it’s something I’ll never be able to live without but just super disappointed about the amount that arrived for the price …

I will never use another tanning lotion. This made me so dark over time and smells good one downside is the shimmer in it but that’s not that big of a deal to me.

This product can taaaaan. Be careful not to burn with it though. It really captures the sun in no time and has you tan so much faster than traditional tanning.
