Smells bad, but it washes out.
This is a wonderful item especially for traveling or working on small projects while riding to the store as a passenger. I was surprised at how much progress I can make on a project in the car while running errands. However, this item smelled SO BAD when I inboxed it. But, I was able to get the smell out by washing it in cold water on the gentle cycle and letting it hang dry.

Large and well made
I love this project bag. It's very well made and large enough for my yarn bowl and several balls of yarn. The outer zippered compartment is big enough for my knitting accessories such as scissors, yarn needle, and crochet hook. I will be ordering a second in another color.
