I bought this for my son. He mixes burger & ground pork with seasoning to vacuum pack burgers for grilling. They are the best burgers I’ve eaten!

Have not used it yet. Feels sturdy. When it arrived the lid was cracked but that shouldn’t effect the functionality.

For small batches of meat it’s ok.
The handle drops below the tank. Yiu have to hang this off the edge of a table to turn. Little unhandy design. It’s not a heavy duty mixer. You will need to water down the meat good bit to be able to turn the handle and not bend the blades.

It was the cheapest for a reason
It got the job done, barely. It was sandblasted most likely to hide scratches or blemishes in the stainless, which allowed the meat to stick to the metal making it a pain to clean unless you rinsed it out right away. Which when doing large quantities of mixing is kind of pointless. Already changed the feet to suction cups due to it sliding all over the place while cranking the handle.

After 70lbs of mixing pork I am dissatisfied with the quality of materials this mixer is made of. First, fit and finish is sub-china specs. It really looks like a 7th grade shop class used this as a project. Scribe marks show, absolutely no polishing of the thin stainless and rudimentary welds. Secondly, the design for the crank to auger connector is flawed. A soft brass insert into a soft thin toothed key is a very weak point.After 70lbs it is bent out of shape and the brass fitting is worn loose enough to allow a lot of slack. PROBABLY A 100LB TOTAL USE PRODUCT BEFORE SERIOUS FAIL.Good news is I was only doing 70 lbs.I am disappointed as I thought this was going to be something to be proud of over the years due to being American made. Problem is I don't think this quality is up to China even. Sad.
