Vinyl LP pressing. In 1977, Kansas followed up the runaway success of Leftoverture with the even bigger Point of Know Return. Containing the million-selling single "Dust in the Wind," along with fan favorites "Portrait (He Knew)," "Closet Chronicles," and "Paradox," it's been certified a staggering sextuple-platinum. "After the success of the album Leftoverture, it was hard to imagine when we released Point of Know Return that this album would be even bigger, but it was," comments Richard Williams. "From the album artwork to the song 'Dust in the Wind,' the album Point of Know Return is really ingrained in rock 'n' roll history and even in popular culture.

Amazing condition
Buying an album can be tricky. So many choices. Original issue, reissue, remastered. Which one is best? I prefer the original issue. This record has no scratches on it. Amazing quality. I'm super happy.

Gold swirl vinyl? Yep, pretty amazing....
I couldn’t find a photo of the vinyl or inside gatefold anywhere online so I posted one here. Colored vinyl and picture discs traditionally have not had a very good history through the years when it’s come down to sound quality. This however, was cut on vinyl by RTI (the best) contracted and mastered by Friday Music. The vinyl is superb, ultra quiet. Mastering is great. The shrill of the high end from the original pressing has now become absolute clarity. The low end is punchy and deep. Front and back cover are original repro and the inside gatefold is a repro of the original inner sleeve liner notes, the new inner sleeve is now a HQ audiophile plastic. The original artwork Kirshner designed label is placed on the record as well. IMHO this is a fantastic 180g vinyl release paying a huge tribute to the original and I highly recommend it. If you’re considering this album on lp, look no further...you’ve found it! This gold swirl vinyl, gatefold cover release is pretty amazing and worth every dime...

Great album!
Great album! However, I had to return it as it turned out that someone else had already purchased it for the intended recipient. Many thanks to the seller for allowing the return!

Buyer Beware
Album listed as new but what I received was not. Scratches, lint, and other imperfections causing constant pops, clicks and static. Very disappointed. Returned. Also, make sure of what you're ordering as this is just black vinyl not gold swirl as pictured in the reviews, which is what I thought I had ordered. I didn't scroll over enough to realize that, my mistake, but I would have kept what I received if it had been in new condition as described.

Great album, no gold swirl
After looking at the other reviews for this vinyl, I saw that people received a gold swirl vinyl, I did not.Even though the black vinyl was disappointing, the music is fantastic.
