Wide mouth, easy to hydrate. Never an odd plastic smell that happens with other kinds of water bottles. My kids have gone through so many types of bottles through the years, but this, is the one they always come back to. Does not dent, has not cracked/shattered, no leaks, and they come in cool colors.My artsy college kid, athletic teen with a hint of dry humor, bohemian-goth, early teen painter, preteen athletic storyteller, an angsty toddler, and a label ripping waddler. Every one of them has a Nalgene, it's gotten a lot of use, abuse and it's held up pretty well. Totally worth it.

Nalgene has been a trusted brand of quality waterbottles that last years. Never once will I doubt them. I have been using my good ol' Nalgene for awhile now and nonetheless have a few great things to say.Pros:-cheap, affordable prices-variety of colors-vibrancy of colors (I got purple and the color is striking)-durable (won't scratch or dent)-see-through (I always drink half before lunch, and the rest before dinner)-wide mouth-BPA free-lid always stays attached-lightweight-holds a lot of water (I got the 32oz and I think that's a good size)Cons:-unfortunately, since it is so big, it doesn't fit in drink holders-does not keep water cold for a long time (I like my water room temp so that doesn't bother me)If you're debating on whether you're gonna buy this or some other overrated expensive waterbottle, definitely get this. It is worth it I promise. :) xxxx

There were several things I was looking for in a water bottle:1) Relatively inexpensive: I leave these guys behind all the time and tend to lose them. I wanted to be able to buy multiple without breaking the bank2) Low weight when empty3) Easy to drink out of4) Doesn't stink too badly if not washed right away5) Easy to carry by hand6) Carries high volumeThis water bottle fulfills all of these fully with the exception of #5. I carry it by hand using the strap that attaches the cap to the bottle. While it hasn't broken yet (had it for a couple months) and doesn't seem like it will soon, I can anticipate this happening. With the girth of the bottle, it will be difficult for me to carry this by hand when it is full. That being said, this is a water bottle that suits my needs perfectly.

I bought two of these because everyone seems to swear by this brand. I wanted to try some. They can be a little awkward to drink out of since the mouth of the bottle is so wide. Moisture sits in the threads of the cap/bottle and runs down my face. Maybe my beard/mustache doesn't help this issue. They do leak a little bit if you don't get the cap snug and then lay them sideways. The threads of the cap can be a little annoying to clean out but its not a big deal (it seems that gunk from various powders tend to collect in there and it begins to mold; might have something to do with how the moisture gathering in the threads ).The plastic seems strong. I've dropped one a couple of times on the pavement and was surprised that it didn't break/crack.All in all, good bottles.

This was by far the best water bottle I have purchased. I was looking for something in between the large ones most people use when working out or doing outdoor activities. This bottle fits right in the middle for me. It will hold 2 16.9 oz water bottles so for me it make ls it easier to get the water intake in without it seeming like a chore. Plus all the color options !

I've been using Nalgene bottles for a lot of years -- at least 16 or so -- and they really do set the standard. Easy to clean (dishwasher safe top rack), and I've never had one leak despite being tossed around in my backpack when I was a student ("non-traditional" older student - went back to school when I retired at age 51 to major in music, then on to grad school; now composing music more as a hobby ... but I digress).The wide mouth is wonderful for adding ice -- I use this now at home when I'm busy working on music or writing or whatever. Fill it with ice tea, and I'm set for the afternoon. BPA-free, no plastic-y taste transfer. Just the ideal water bottle.

I always loved this brand of water bottles. they are sturdy, easy to wash (since it has a wide mouth top), and have a nice/attractive appearance. I have dropped this water bottle MULTIPLE times and all it gets is scratches. I would say that if you have this water bottle for a long time then you will get lots of scratches on it. Of course, when you first open it it does have that plastic smell but after you wash it once (dishwasher or hand wash) the smell goes away. Other than the sturdiness of the water bottle, I also love the color selections they have. The company has a large variety of colors and whichever one you pick you will not be disappointed because the colors are so bold and bright. I will always love this brand especially their water bottles.

I bought this for my dad so that he can measure his daily water intake. I have had one of these bottles for more than a few years and it is my go to so I figured I'd buy one for my dad also. There is no insulation for this water bottle however its great as a basic water bottle. And the violet color is pretty.
