Songmics Pet Carrier XL
Bought this for our Cocker Spaniel and Pomchi to use for our car journey for our hols. But our Cocker Spaniel loves it so much that it is now a permanent fixture next to the Pomchi's metal crate. Very pleased with it. Arrived sooner than expected and a minute to assemble.

Disappointed
I am very disappointed with the durability of this item.My puppy has already bitten through the rather fragile mesh opening and the flimsy zip has broken.Please let me know what I should do now since it is no longer safe to use.I would be grateful of a response and would like to request a refund.This product has only been used for less than a month.After reporting this, Songmics have responsibly refunded the full amount for the carrier and have said they are in the process of improving the item with regard to durability and safety. They were swift to refund for the carrier and I have thanked them for this .Date: 10 11 17.

not puppy proof
We have today at last tried this crate with our 6 month pup. The design was easy to put up, looked really nice and our pup took to it right away. However..... within 1 night she has destroyed the side door by eating clean through it. Therefore for us this crate has not been fit for purpose, ie has not kept out little hound safe and secure. Shame as this product has huge potential if only not so flimsy.8/9/18Thank you Crystal at Songmix. You have refunded me today without any problems. Again, great product if your pup isn't a chewer. My Parents have one for their dog and he loves it ( a Yorkie poo) Rather than our chewing Lab/ collie cross. Great response Songmix, thanks again .

Strong and sturdy is good
Strong and sturdy, which is good for a soft sided cage, well designed. My only concern is the height, it would be better if it was higher internally.Being the same height as width means that she cannot stand up comfortably, preferably more height would give more comfort. I bought it to use at shows, it is lighter to carry from car into the show than the metal ones. It needs to fit on the bench so the width of the cage is restricted but not theheight. Maybe the designers of the soft cages could consider this, some do

Works exactly as I wanted.
This is the lower end of price for crates, and I suspect not as well made as the higher end ones. That said, it does exactly what it says on the tin. However If you’re dog is a chewer then any lightweight fabric travel crate isn’t going to work. The cons: The zips are not robust, and if you exert pressure on them they will spilt, the material of the crate has to be exactly in place for the zips to do up.Pros: size is perfect for a 20kg lurcher to lie in comfort, stand up and turn around, she loves it. Use it for visiting friends and on holiday so she is safe and feels secure. It is lightweight, easy to transport folded and easy to put up, I put extra bedding inside. For the price you can’t go wrong, and I’d buy another.

does everything it says , got mine for a labrador puppy , thinking i would buy another when he grows .but ithink this size will probably fit him when i his adult . cant fault it , excellent value . and the two bags are very useful /.

great product
use this as an overnight crate for my pointer when away with her. it has lots of space for her to move around in and she settles well in it. She is used to being crated overnight so no issue with her trying to get out.I am really pleased with the purchase.

Very light an to use
In many ways I am very pleased with this travel cage. My puppy settled into it immediately. As I travel frequently it has been a godsend to have somewhere that is easily transportable but the puppy can be safely accommodated anywhere. However, I was disappointed that the original mattress was very thin and had to be supplemented with a blanket. More importantly, however, after only 10 weeks, the puppy has almost clawed her way through the floor and once she has the cage will be useless.
